Our home is on a 4-acre lot on High Rock Lake. The guest space is a fully furnished guesthouse above a detached storage area (15 steps). The bedroom has a king-size bed and TV, the den has a full sofa, recliner, and TV with HD antenna & Netflix - NO CABLE. There is a full kitchen, bath, washer/dryer and walk-in closet. There is a small deck with a table and chairs overlooking the lake. Guests have access to the pier, 2 kayaks, canoe, swing, firepit, grill & gardens. We DO have WiFi.

A well-equipped kitchen features modern appliances and a spacious countertop. Four wooden bar stools line the granite island, while decorative paddles and nautical artwork adorn the light gray walls. Natural light fills the area through a nearby window.

Peaceful high rock lake front cottage !

Take it easy at this unique and tranquil getaway. High rock lake front very secluded area of the lake. Private pier and floating dock. We are on a shallow part of the lake at times if it’s dry enough or damns open out pier can be on the ground. 95% of them time we have good water. There are outside cameras and they are off during your stay, but if it makes you feel more comfortable, we leave the blink module in living room you can unplug during your stay just plug back in when you leave.

Amazing views from 5 stories above the lake, looking towards Uwharrie National Forest (no houses across the lake). Sunset & sunrise are a must see. Stairs lead down to dock for fishing, swimming, relaxing, & kayaking. Three bedrooms offer sleeping for up to 10 guests. You will love this peaceful peninsula home on High Rock Lake. Salem Shores is the perfect spot to let your stress float away. The low-sloping lakefront lot leads straight to the water with a private dock and sandy beach. Paddle in the 4 kayaks, float/swim in the lake, lounge on the dock/shore, and enjoy the fire pit. Then go in and cuddle on the comfortable couches in front of the 70" 4K Smart TV before enjoying the comfortable beds, blackout curtains, and soothing sound machines.

Also includes screened in front porch with ramp for wheel chair access that has a seating area and a small four seat dining area with outdoor lighting and ceiling fans overlooking a garden setting. No smoking inside cottages only outside please. Another 2 /1 cottage right next door is available for larger groups up to 8 total for both cottages.
