1 Large california king bed and 1 long couch suitable for sleeping. Pack n play and children's cot available upon request. Bathroom is fully equipped for all your needs. Wifi, sheets, pillows, blankets, towels, toiletries, filtered water, and coffee maker (with grounds) are provided for each guest. Microwave and mini fridge is upstairs. TV on a swivel mount is viewable from the bed or the lounge area, with Amazon Prime streaming video, HBO and PBS kids subscriptions. Guests can also relax in our beautiful backyard, with a set of adirondack chairs and a hammock under a pergola. Guests will enter through the back yard up a small set of exterior stairs. We will provide you with a keycode for entry. We live 10 minutes away and both work from home, and are available at any time to assist you with your needs! We are often at the space, to clean, to improve, or just passing by to see friends. We love meeting our guests, in fact that is part of why we do this! The neighborhood has all the amenities a city offers while still having a laid back feel. Candler Park is one of the only truly walkable areas in Atlanta. The Candler Park Pool is open all summer and is just a short walk away. You will have the driveway to yourself, in addition to the ample street parking available. MARTA is a five minute walk away with 2 stops to downtown Decatur in one direction, and downtown Atlanta 2 stops in the other direction. Many restaurants, concert venues, bars, grocery stores are all within 10 minutes walking distance. There’s an eclectic mix of neighborhoods to explore in Atlanta, the state capital of Georgia. Famous Peachtree Street travels through Downtown, Midtown, and Buckhead, lined with eateries and luxury stores. Situated in the foothills of the Appalachian Mountains, Atlanta is bordered to the east by the Chattahoochee River and surrounded by the Talladega National Forest to the west and the Blue Ridge Mountains to the north, all of which make for great day trips from the city when you’re looking to do some exploration outdoors.

Cascade Springs Nature Preserve

Explore more than 120 acres of green space inside one of the oldest forests within the city limits. Extensive hiking trails wind past trickling springs, challenging hills, a moss-covered, historic stone springhouse, and a small waterfall. The city commissioned local artists to paint murals on benches and tables throughout the park, uniting a unique art experience with the natural beauty of Atlanta’s hilly forests and a dense blanket of ferns and ivy.

Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park

Spread across several city blocks, the Martin Luther King, Jr. National Historical Park includes the civil rights leader’s childhood home, his church — Ebenezer Baptist Church — and his final resting place. Several other landmarks and museums are also on-site, along with the “I Have a Dream” World Peace Rose Garden with its 185 different varieties of roses.
