“Sheri’s place is charming, scenic and peaceful! The set up is very accommodating and welcoming! Bed was very comfortable and everything was perfectly clean. We stayed there as a nightly stop over during our trip to relocate across the country. Wish we could’ve stayed longer! Also got to meet her cute dogs :) Our 2 puppies had a blast as well.”

“I'm happy to add to the chorus of praise. for the Tiny House near Floyd, Virginia. My sweetheart and I just spent two nights there and had an extraordinary experience. The place is comfortably configured, beautifully appointed, and very clean. We slept well and enjoyed eating breakfast and dinner on the porch. Hari and Karl were genial, helpful hosts. In sum, we recommend a stay at the Tiny House with great enthusiasm and plan to return.. For hikers, we highly recommend the Rock Castle Gorge Trail at Rocky Knob on the Blue Ridge Parkway, about seven miles from the place. The 12-mile loop takes you through meadows with flowers and cows, and along creeks with waterfalls and lush rhododendron. Lovely. One caveat: taking the loop counterclockwise involves a steep, sustained climb out of the gorge. If you're worried about your aerobic capacity, go clockwise to gain back the altitude at a more moderate rate.”

“Amanda's place was gorgeous! It is hidden away on a quiet street amongst rolling hills. The guesthouse was large and spacious. It was just 2 of us, but I think it would fit 6 people very comfortably. The entertainment station was great and super easy to use. The kitchen had a lot of counter space and we made a few good meals in there. The guesthouse was closer than I expected to the main house, but we didn't feel uncomfortable. The huge bedroom is lofted, so keep that in mind if you have a large group. We were 40 minutes from Cascade Falls, Angel's Rest and 25 minutes from downtown Blacksburg. 15 minutes from grocery stores and other amenities. Amanda was very knowledgeable and provided some tips for where to go. A few highlights: Amanda's family had just gotten an adorable chocolate lab named Boots (!!) that we got to play with. Amanda's daughters made lemonade that we enjoyed. We were a few houses away from a house that had donkeys, which was entertaining for us. I highly recommend Amanda's place for a getaway to the mountains!”
