“My wife and I had a great time waking up and seeing all the farm animals below! Gavin and Jessica were quick to respond to our questions and gave us great recommendation s for local places to eat. Great spot if you are planning to go to any wineries! Very relaxing and peaceful!”

We are convenient to many local attractions like hiking, swimming, brewery and vineyard tours and yet secluded enough to heal your stress, enjoy time with your family or simply a special time away from the grind. Come stay with us! You deserve sincere hospitality!
“This place is a wonderful retreat from the city. Sara & Jeremiah put a lot of thought into the space they have created. Lots of beautiful, natural touches that make the space unique and private. The Tipi is beautiful, with a super comfortable bed, and a Kurig machine. You can enjoy your coffee while gazing at the mountain views first thing in the morning. Take a nap in the hammock, stroll around the farm, or sit and gaze at the stars with a fire going at night, you choose. It is up to you how much you interact with the hosts. They are very respectful of your space but are there if you need anything! Super place!”

“If you are looking for a destination to rest, build fond memories, and are a fan of J.R.R. Tolkien - stop and book now. If you want to relax, learn how to make something, or want to try living in an earth house, you have found your place too. We have been forunate enough to visit Hobbiton in New Zealand where filming for The Hobbit and Lord of the Rings movies took place. Those sets are amazing living environments that match the picture your mind's eye paints when reading the books. Randy and Linda's creation has the same authentic feel to it with an added bonus: You are not in a tourist mob getting shuffled along. You and friend(s) are the only ones there and are in no rush to do anything. That alone is more immersive, but you also get a fully functional, very comfortable Hobbit hole behind your round door. It is so easy to imagine Hobbit life eating in the kitchen or falling asleep to the sounds of nature in your Hobbit bed. If you have never had the joy of making something beautiful or useful, we strongly recommend talking with Randy about all the workshops he has to offer. He does even more than he mentions in his description. You may come away with a tangible keepsake or gift that you made yourself. This venue compares very favorably to other locations we have stayed in this price range. That is to say it is very nice. Most places claim to be clean and are fine. This place is a level above that. Everything is in its place looking new (unless it is supposed to look worn) and smells fresh. The attention to detail is astounding. Be sure to look up at the ceiling in the main hall and notice the corner treatment on the base molding. Even the bed linens have just the right Hobbity-ness - not something someone would pick for a stage play but something an actual Hobbit might choose for their home. The hosts are incredibly personable and are very sensitive to your level of engagement - chat for a bit or be left alone. This was only the second time we have ever used AirBnB but it is hard to imagine staying someplace better than this.”
