The cottage is fully air conditioned, clean, has WiFi and is located 8 min. from I-64 and 10 min. from both White Sulphur Springs (the Greenbrier) and Lewisburg, WV (“Coolest Small Town” winner). We love hosting guests on our farm, in our cozy cottage with beauty, peace and quiet, trails, fishing, and mountain air.

This century old cottage, updated with modern comforts, is perfect for a long or short stay and is located on our family farm. Minutes from downtown Staunton or Interstates 81/64. Relax, stretch out in four rooms, get some laundry done. Enjoy the peace of the rural setting. You will be renting the 3 bedroom cottage, very large, fenced yard for your pet. Relax at this quiet, peaceful place with year round trout stream. Minutes from the breweries and wineries on Nelson 151. Plenty of outdoor activities to enjoy. The George Washington National Forest is across the street for exploring, hiking and hunting. The house is only 4 miles from Crabtree Falls and several minutes from the Appalachian Trail access. Wintergreen Resort is 12 miles away.

Charming 2 bedroom 1 bath guest house sleeps four looking over the Cowpasture River on a 350 acre working farm. Guest may use of our concrete tennis court and explore miles of hiking trails that lead to the national forest. Farm is surrounded by over 2.5 miles of the Cowpasture River. There is a gravel beach right beside the bridge entering the farm where one can enjoy wading and swimming. River here is 3-4 feet deep depending on the season and stream flow.

Built for $500.00 dollars "back-in-the-day," the Earlehurst Cottage was inhabited by The Carters, a humble, cute old country couple. Here, they raised two daughters. Today, the house is tastefully appointed where expected - & comfortable to modern standards - yet, it has been left as charming, rustic & cozy as it had always been: with elements of the original decor, windows, plaster walls, etc., being preserved. Pets stay for free!
