Sarah’s loft is high up there in terms of quality and value. A beautifully furnished apartment within walking distance to almost all attractions and restaurants in downtown Kingsport! The kitchen was also fully prepared for me to cook in, I’m a cook by trade and all appliances were in good working order. The neighborhood itself is fairly quiet and the self check-in process is easy. The room is incredibly private and Sarah was super quick to respond to any questions I had! Overall, 10/10- my partner and I will definitely be planning another weekend here again in the near future.

This is an amazing loft! The pictures truly don't do the apartment justice. It oozes both style and comfort, all while be close by to downtown.

Perfect quiet hillside spot for a weekend in Kingsport. We came for a first birthday party and we’re out much of the time but the Chalet was everything we needed and more for the evenings when we were ready for bed. Spacious and functional and personal touches made the place feel more like a home rather than than a hotel. Easy directions in and out of the community and we absolutely felt safe. Would recommend to anyone visiting and well absolutely be back for our next trip to Tennessee!

The chalet is clean, cozy, and comfortable. We felt at home the moment we walked in. I appreciated extra touches like the sodas and snacks available, as well as the local grocery discount card attached to the keys. Danny communicated often through the reservation and checkin process. My only dilemma was trying to decide if the view out over Kingsport or up toward Bays Mountain was more breathtaking!

The house was amazing and had a wonderful homey feel to it. She had art around the house that was nice to look at and the beds were very nice.

Expect to be treated with comfort and any other requests you have. The host has an eye for detail and the whole place shows that. Truly a magical hidden jewel. Five stars all around!!!!

Wow, this was such an amazing little find for our Valentines Day evening! We loved spending our evening wrapped up the cozy warm atmosphere with all the amazing personal touches to you put into the property. We GUSHED over all the wonderful art and culture you’ve put onto the walls and into the space. I’m local to johnson city but I can’t wait for a peaceful, serene evening at the cottage again! And his hair was definitely perfect

This is a very well done restoration of an older home. Very secluded location, but close to everything and all of the major roadways. Spotless and very well equipped with everything you may ever need.

It was very clean and even though it was an older home, you couldn't tell, they did a great job remodeling. Communication was simple, Sydney responds quickly. This is our 2nd time staying here for work, and Vickie the host is amazing as usual! Home is great, communication is amazing! The experience and stay is for sure 10 stars***** will most definitely come back again when in the area!

Vickie's place is a wonderful getaway! My boyfriend and I stayed the weekend for a Valentine's getaway, and the apartment had everything we needed. It was immaculately clean, and all of the homey touches made it warm and welcoming. Vickie met us at the door and give us a small tour of the place and let us know how to work the thermostat and Roku services. When we arrived, the towel warmer was already on and she had left us some homemade treats from their bakery, including chocolate strawberries for Valentine's! They had plenty of extra toiletries in the bathroom and dishware, coffee/tea, and sodas in the kitchen, and anything else that you might need during your stay. Vickie goes above and beyond for her guests, and we are already planning our next trip back in the summer to visit the Devil's Bathtub!

One word: AMAZING! The accommodations were spacious, extremely clean, well decorated, thoughtfully executed and packed with amenities. Vickie has thought of everything and is a pure pleasure to meet. A great place to stay and explore all that Scott and neighboring counties have to offer. At the end of our busy days the suite was like an oasis where we could relax and unwind! I have to say this place is better than many of the hotels I have stayed in around the world! Don’t hesitate, book it now!

Wow, what a spectacular place and host! This was our first time staying in Air BNB locations and we had no idea what to expect. Vickie’s place was truly so much more than we expected. We immediately felt right at home the minute we walked through the door. The apartment was warm and inviting with beautiful touches of fresh flowers and fresh home-made pastries. It is definitely an awesome value for the money.

PERFECT PLACE! The pictures listed are very accurate in showing what the apartment looks like; it is so cute! It has such a stylish design but still feels homey. (The only--LITERALLY ONLY--downside is that the shower is a bit on the smaller side, but not really a big deal.) The location of the place is on an adorable and historic street in Gate City with lots of great shops to explore. (You MUST stop by the Family Bakery! So good!) We cannot say enough great things about Vickie! She was quick in her communication and was prepared for anything we needed. She greeted us at the door when we arrived to show us around and make sure we got checked in safely and without any questions. She made sure there were some breakfast and snack items stocked in the kitchen and even left us some snacks and some sweet treats to celebrate our anniversary! She was so welcoming and laid back and was there for anything we needed at any time! Great host!

Vickie makes sure you have what you need and she leaves delicious pastries from her bakery too. It is a wonderful place to stay!

This was our second stay at Monica and Daniel’s place and it was even better than we remembered. They are such welcoming hosts and wonderful people. Their home is beautifully curated with antiques, art, and other unique & quirky collectibles. Their 2 black cats are friendly and quiet. The room was comfortable, clean, and decorated beautifully. We felt right at home here. Also, since I travel for work and always have all of my inventory in the back of my truck, the off-street parking is always a big plus. We look forward to our next stay here!!

This was the perfect place to stop during travel. It was 2-3 mins off I-81 and so convenient when I wanted to get back on the road the next morning. It was warm, cozy, super comfy bed, and EXTREMELY clean— highly recommend!!

Very nice alternative to a hotel room for one or two people. Bed was comfortable, reclining loveseat was nice for reading in the evening. Parking was right beside the door. It had coffee provided for the coffee maker, which is nice. With microwave and small fridge, it was all I needed for my overnight stay.

The house was excellent value and was very close to Kingsport. The fireplace was wonderful and there was plenty of coffee provided. The dogs enjoyed the large back yard area. The only unclear information was that we were asked to clean all of the dog hair before check out. The information states pet friendly but we did not know we were required to clean until we checked in. We spent the morning of check out cleaning. Otherwise perfect for a quick trip to Kingsport!

This is my second time staying at Hoot's Roost. It's so comfy and feels like home. It's perfect for me as it's in the community I grew up in. I live in Pennsylvania and it's so nice to have my space personally and have friends and family come for visits there rather than me running around trying to see everyone. I truly love staying at this home. I will book again for my next visit.

You will have a wonderful time at this hidden oasis. In the mountains of Virginia across street from a sparkling clean river.. Beautiful massive log cabin. Can accommodate up to 12 people! I had a lovely time and will return once available again. This is a must see house! You will love the host as well!

Very peaceful and quiet. Kim is extremely accommodating. My 2 year old was scared of the cat there and wouldn't get down at all to walk. I asked if Kim could take her and she agreed. It was very nice of her to tend to my request. She responded very quickly to any request we had. There are a lot of toys for children to play with. Very satisfied with the trip.

Greg was a fantastic host! The place was even better than I expected. It was very roomy, super clean and comfortable. The location was in the middle of all the best parts of the Tri-Cities area. Greg has a wealth of local knowledge and taught us places and restaurants to visit. The home had everything you would need including a giant TV and tons of cable channels. Plus a fireplace that made you feel right at home. If it had included a big garage and workshop I might have never left!

This is a unique Airbnb accommodation, very clean, perfect for a couple or solo traveler. The cabin is charmingly rustic with modern amenities added. It is a perfect alternative for those who don’t prefer to camp while visiting the nearby nature areas of Natural Tunnel State Park, Devil’s Bathtub, and High Knob Recreation Area.

Really neat old log cabin. We had to cut our stay short unexpectedly, but Lisa graciously refunded us for the days we had to forfeit.

I'm actually torn about writing a five star review because I want this place to be available the next time I try to book! This was by far one of the coolest Airbnb stays I've had yet. The cabin is nestled in a mountain meadow surrounded by other weathered cabins that look like they have so many stories to tell and beg to be photographed. The interior of the cabin is rustic and cozy and makes you feel like you are an early settler tucked in for the night. Lisa was great and very helpful and she went out of her way to give us local tips and advice. I could go on and on. This was well worth the time and money!!

I stay at this property frequently. It is a great value. Everything is new and the house is always clean, comfortable and the hosts are very friendly and quick to respond to any communications. They are very respectful of your privacy, but always let you know they are available should you need them. The property is located near town while still being in the country. The major highways are about a mile away and you can quickly access all the attractions in the area.

Great for travelers

This property is a very good value. It is very centrally located which makes it a versatile place to stay. For the work traveler it is literally minutes to Domtar or Eastman. It is minutes to the Downtown shops and restaurants. It is within a mile or so of the major roadways to all of the local attractions. It is at the Virginia line so the Virginia attractions are easy to reach. All of this while being out in a country setting. All appliances are new. Home appears to be recently redone. It is very comfortable. Great value for many different types of travelers.

This is a hidden jewel. You enjoy a quite small community feel but remain close to everything. This place is a perfect option for many different types of travelers. If you are here on business this place is just out of town and literally minutes from the major industries in town. A short drive to Eastman or Domtar. If you are here as a sightseer or want to explore the local attractions, it is conveniently located and access to the highway system is very close. Stores are local and the downtown area is about 5 minutes away. A great base camp for someone exploring the area. A very good safe value. Communication is outstanding and they are extremely responsive and helpful. The property appears to have been recently remodeled and everything is new, nice and works perfectly. I have already booked more time and will probably continue to do so many more times.

Linda's home is a great location in Kingsport. The home is spacious, we fit an air mattress for kids. It is also nicely decorated but if you have toddlers, those beautiful touches are a downside. Great for families with older children.

Space is as advertised. Very convenient with lots of room and elegant touches throughout. There are still some areas which are being worked on, I believe, and this should get smoothed out. Also, no separate A/C for the upstairs and it got quite warm during the day, but owner did provide a fan, which made a big difference. We would definitely stay there when visiting Kingsport again!

What a great place! We had a wonderful stay. Sarah was the #1 host for information about accessing the AirBnB (we have experienced issues with other hosts) and her responses were super quick. The location is great - you can walk to anything in town. Parking was convenient - right in front of the building. The apartment was just like the pictures - really great!

Wonderful place, clean, beautiful, beautiful view of the mountains. Tips: the Carter family Fold on Saturday evening in Hiltons. We have cycled the creeper trail, first with a shuttle going up from Damascus. Very worthwhile and easy trip.

The place is fantastic, private, clean, cozy and comfortable. You will love it from the moment you start to drive through the arches made by layers and layers of brilliant red, yellow, and gold leaves of fall. However, the breathtaking views on the way is just like an appetizer, when the arty iron gate to explore this hidden gem opens slowly in front of you, and you know your decision on the main course is absolutely right...... Eva is a great host with great hospitality. she had thought of everything before we got there. She had snacks set up in the room and a letter of everything we need to know about staying there. This is wonderfully stylish, relaxing space. The outdoor deck offered a special place to have coffee in the evening and watch the deer wander around. Eva personally welcomed us and showed us around the space as well as offered tips of things to do while on our weekend getaway. Eva and Mike are super-nice folks! Would love to be their permanent neighbors!

This first Airbnb experience has set the bar mighty high for all others. A beautiful, tranquil location with the Holston River right across the road. Spacious, airy abode, spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. Super comfortable bed, fabulous deck out back. We split time between Abingdon and Bristol on this visit, and this seemed perfectly in-between. Can’t wait to go back. Only regret is that one night was not enough.

This was a quaint apartment located in the middle of nowhere, affording one the opportunity to disconnect from the hustle and bustle. And by middle of nowhere, I mean a 30-40 min drive into the nearest town. It is gorgeous landscape, and wonderful opportunity to observe wildlife.

This cottage was wonderful! Clean, spacious, decorated nicely, and just an overall comfortable and homey place. The bed was so comfortable as well. The grounds are beautiful and Eva was great to work with!

Great and very clean loft. The loft was amazingly stocked with everything you would need from tooth paste, shampoo, shaving cream, to a Keurig with plenty of coffee, creamers and sugars, to all the things you would need to make a meal. Having a Roku TV was great and we were able to enjoy any TV we wanted. Just really amazingly stocked. The loft was very clean were you can smell the cleanliness of the sheets on the bed and all around the loft. The bed was super comfortable and was made right for guest. Monica and Karen were very attentive to any of our needs and responded immediately. We can not say enough about the hospitality, cleanliness and everything about the stay. Just A+ and amazing.

This loft goes above and beyond expectations. We felt so welcomed and right at home during our stay. It’s the perfect location as well. During our trip we walked pretty much everywhere.

We love staying with Monica and Karen! This is the 2nd time and both places we have rented have been great! They have great touches, such as extras in case you forget toiletries and they even had slippers available for me that I forgot! We will be staying again if allowed!

Whenever I’m in Bristol, I always stay at the lofts. You can’t go wrong booking with Monica & Karen!

Happy Birthday to ME! What a wonderful place to spend my Birthday weekend....just me and the Hubby! This has to be one of the NICEST places we could EVER choose to stay at! Any of their places are Unbelievable in so many ways! You would never go wrong staying at any of their Luxurious Industrial Residential Lofts! Everything was so comfortable and we felt so "at home"! The attention to every detail~cleanliness~hospitality~the list goes on and on! I assure you, you will be amazed to stay in any of these Lofts! So much to see and do, in a small town! You will never want to use a Motel again! Once you stay here (at any of their Lofts) you will be "Spoiled for Life"!!! We had a Wonderful Birthday Weekend and plan on staying here again soon!

We Loved every second of our stay here. It was truly perfect for a romantic get away. We had so much fun and the house was so cool. Traveling to and from the house is easy, with plenty of stores and restaurants near by. We had a wonderful time.

Great, relaxing, clean spacious rental. Location is convenient while still being quiet and secluded. Also, it was very cold while we were there and the house stayed warm and cozy. Highly recommend if looking for a place to unwind.

Great place to stay! Bobbie went above and beyond, even would clean dishes I hadn't gotten around to cleaning yet. Nice updated duplex, walking distance to downtown and was overall a great experience. Would stay here again for sure
