Attractions within driving distance include Walnut Canyon, Bearizona, Sedona, The Grand Canyon, Williams, Winslow, Lowell Observatory, NAU and Meteor Crater.

Enjoy this peaceful retreat with views of a mature forest and the San Francisco Peaks! Deer and elk graze across the ravine outside your bedroom window, and hummingbirds drink nectar from the abundant wildflowers. This is a really special spot! The cutest little rustic A-frame log cabin ever! Dog friendly with pre-approval. Our home is located in the eclectic, country neighborhood of Mountainare, 8 south of Flagstaff/skiing. So you get the feel of a small, mountain community, but still are only a 10 minute drive to Flagstaff and NAU area. This is our home! We lived here for years, and still stay frequently. We manage and maintain this property personally, so you are not renting from some property management company, but our family!

While not technically a treehouse, this log cabin is 79 steps up, sits above ground level and is surrounded by ponderosa pines! Once inside this cozy and peaceful home, you'll feel like you're in your own private treehouse. Located in Kachina Village, just 8 miles south of downtown Flagstaff, you'll get to enjoy dark skies and quiet evenings while being close to all of Flagstaff's attractions. Please note that you DO have to climb all 79 steps and cross a foot bridge over Pumphouse Wash.
