This story could have started in the 40's, but we'll start in the 60's when this tiny cabin was local housing to graduate students at Duke. Wonderfully located and unlike anything else this close to Duke University or downtown Durham, the Green Door cabin welcomes you for the weekend or week. Fully renovated recently while keeping the charm intact. You can feel as isolated as you want with every amenity within just a couple of miles. Historic Warrenton Small Cabin

Beautiful guest house, located steps from the main house, hidden from public. The cabin is tucked away in our manicure backyard. Spacious fenced in yard where your fur babies can run free. Enjoy the large pergola with comfy seating for nighttime relaxation or dining. The house offers a living room, kitchenette (NO STOVE) and spacious bathroom. The second floor is a large LOFT with a dividing wall separating the two sleeping areas. There are 13 steps to the second floor. ABSOLUTELY NO PARTY!

Artist's Studio

Originally the studio of a visual artist (long ago garden illustrator for The New York Times), this petite building is completely private. Firm queen bed. Mix of antiques and artisanal built-ins. Radiant heat. AC. Mini fridge and microwave, electric kettle, Chemex coffee maker and French Press, excellent wifi. Unique space in one of the best country neighborhoods around. 6.5 miles to Hillsborough healthy grocery store, 8 to Carrboro/Chapel Hill, 18 to Durham. Serene pond and grounds.
