Our cozy house, built in 1894, is conveniently located in the center of the beautiful, green town of Witten in the heart of the Ruhr area. The main train station, the city center and nature are a few minutes' walk away. The lovingly furnished apartment on the first floor is bright and friendly. Enjoy your stay in our bright and friendly apartment in the basement. The apartment is located directly on the edge of the forest in a quiet street with single-family houses. Shops are 500 m away and the highway connections (A2 & A31) are 800 m away. The cities of Essen (city center 14 km), Oberhausen (CentrO, 7 km), as well as the ski hall (Alpincenter, 7 km) and the Movie Park (12 km) can be reached quickly by car. We will welcome you personally and will be available for questions.

Light and spacious, with over 50m2, there is plenty of room for a luxurious stay for 2 people. Kitchen, room, bathroom, separate toilet and bedroom are all new and luxurious. We have furnished the independent studio with high-quality materials. Just as you would like it at home. Although we do not serve breakfast, we always provide a refrigerator filled with some drinks, butter, yogurt/quark, eggs, jam. There are also cereals, oil/vinegar, sugar, coffee and tea.

The place is close to the city center and Lake Aasee. The university of applied sciences can be reached in 10 minutes by bike and in 5 minutes by car (B67 in the immediate vicinity). A bus stop is very close. The bakery and butcher, as well as the food market, are about 1000 meters away. Our house and the apartment are located in a cul-de-sac. Public parking is available. We have furnished the apartment practically and cozily. Linens and towels are included.

The beautiful bright apartment is surrounded by fields on the outskirts of Bislich. Completely renovated at the end of 2018, the apartment has underfloor heating and includes a fully equipped new kitchen with dishwasher and a new bathroom. The bedrooms have laminate floors, all other living areas with large tiles. The furnishings are chosen with a lot of love for detail and exudes a warm atmosphere. A private terrace (with barbecue) is also available.

Haus Barbara - self-sufficient farmhouse in Borken

An old farmhouse from the early 20th century - thanks to a solar system (hot water) /photovoltaics (electricity) and its own groundwater, the house functions self-sufficiently and sustainably. A few years ago, my wife and I decided to renovate our house and make part of the space available for vacation guests. We look forward to interacting with the new guests, offering them a great time and simply a pleasant stay in our cozy home.
