Centuries ago, a castle called ‘Huis Ulft’ was located on the premises. It used to belong to the sister of one of the Netherlands most important historical figures. Het Goede Gemoed is located in a very wooded area where you can walk, cycle and recreate to your heart's content. On the grounds of the University of Twente you can enjoy sports. The inner cities of Enschede, Hengelo, Oldenzaal and Borne are within cycling distance of the house. The lovely villages of Delden, Goor, Boekelo are also in the vicinity. Het Goede Gemoed; "Afterwards and yet close". Good cozy restaurants are plentiful and also grabbing a movie is done in no time.

Apartment (95m2) on the lower floor with lovely city garden. Located right in the center and yet quiet. Here you combine Münsterland flair with everything that the big metropolises offer. In Erle stands the oldest oak in Germany. A chestnut avenue, the rustic schnapps distillery and the old windmill also invite you to cycle and walk on numerous hiking routes.

Typical French - with private sauna

A detached stone cottage with a private garden and views of Achterhoek's scenic landscape. Because of the many windows, the living room is very bright and spacious. There is also a wood-burning stove allowing you to warm up by the stove and of course in the sauna on cold evenings. Our horses run in the meadow in front of the garden, and our chickens also run loose in the garden.
