Our Cabin is brand new as of the end of August 2017. My place is close to Ski Sugar (2 miles), Ski Beech (6 miles), Grandfather Mtn, Boone, Blowing Rock, Tweetsie Railroad, Blue Ridge Parkway. You’ll love my place because it's Nested in the Lush surroundings of the Blue Ridge Mtns. Our cabin offers all the comforts of your own home combined with the beauty and serenity of the Blue Ridge Mountains.
“We had a fantastic weekend celebrating our Birthdays. Matt and Sarah’s cabins are in a great location - close to plenty of restaurants, shopping, Ski Resorts, and Grandfather Mountain. The cabin itself was super clean and stocked with linens, and we loved the hot tub! We will definitely come back for another visit!”
Two-bedroom, two bath cabin eight miles south of Boone, North Carolina on Highway 105 in the Watauga River Valley. Fifteen minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway and Blowing Rock. A large covered wrap-around porch offers the best sittin' in the Blue Ridge and a pleasing mountain view. Enjoy your solitude or entertain in the spacious great room. Many popular attractions are nearby.
“This place was wonderful. It had tons of light, and the setup of the space was really functional. All of the furniture was incredibly comfortable! The views were lovely and at one point we even watched the rain from under the covered porch on the rocking chairs. They created a binder that discusses local attractions which was very helpful. Everything on the premises was clean. I would absolutely recommend this and will be staying again!”
Renovated log cabin sits behind our historic farm house and guest-house on a wooded hillside. The cabin sits right beside a creek and has a lovely private outdoor stone patio attached. Has a great view of the serene creek and woods. This setting is like a little hidden natural preserve tucked away - one of the few "old home-places" that still exists in Downtown Boone.
“This is an absolutely stunning little cabin that was such a perfect place to stay over for a combination writing-retreat and flyfishing weekend. The place itself is beautiful, superbly appointed with all kinds of conveniences: good coffee, a few pieces of fruit and yogurts in the fridge, even a container of fresh homemade granola! There's a bookshelf of (very good!) books to read and even borrow, and lovely art decorating the place along with a whole desk full of art supplies in case your own creative energies are stirred by the surroundings -- which they very well might be, since the setting is breathtaking: the bedroom looks out on a small creek and wooded hillside, so you feel like you are far away from everything. But in fact you're only a few minutes' *walk* from some of the best restaurants, coffee shops and pubs in Boone. I can't say enough good things about this beautiful and beautifully maintained cabin: definitely stay here! It is amazing. And Christal herself is the perfect host: quick, clear, and friendly communication; amazing hospitality (remember the granola!); and all kinds of efforts, even in my short stay, to go above and beyond to help out. I accidentally turned off the pilot light on one of the heaters (dumb!) and couldn't figure out how to get it on -- she came over instantly, in the snow, to turn it back on ... and also brought over a book she thought I'd like. This really is a perfect place for a getaway in the mountains and I will hope to be back as soon as I possibly can make it. Thank you, Christal!”
