The city center and harbor can be reached in just 10 minutes by car. Parking spaces are not on the property, but are available free of charge and unlimited in time on the roundabout directly in front of the house. The Waldhaus is located in the middle of a natural forest property, with many special highlights, such as the barbecue and saunaota.

It is perfect for exploring Hamburg or for cycling or walking. Lüneburg and the Lüneburg Heath are also not far away. There is a bus line to Hamburg-Harburg or Winsen Luhe. 5 km from the Hoopte ferry terminal and 5 minutes' walk to the beautiful Seeve nature reserve.

The cottage is very traffic-calmed in a cul-de-sac location and can be reached via an 80 m long private path. In 70 m as the crow flies, there is a currently occupied stork nest. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters away. Two bicycles are available, free of cost.
