Set on a picturesque 33-acre grassfed cattle farm, this 4 bedroom, 3 loft, 2.5 bath dwelling is ideal for family get-togethers and intimate reunions with old friends. Many Blue Ridge Mountain sunsets have been celebrated from the open air balcony. Due to the number of staircases and separated rooms, the property is not ideal for folks with toddlers or those with mobility limitations.

The Studio at Dark Run Retreat

Quiet studio on a secluded 5 acres only 3 miles from town. Kick back and relax by the pool in the warmer months, or in the hot tub in the cooler months. Small trails lead to the creek running along the property, maybe you'll even catch a glimpse of the deer or turkey that wander thru...we've even seen a lil bear once! Relaxation and quiet are two words that come to mind at Sunset Retreat. Close enough to stores for convenience but far enough away for solitude. Large yard, fire pit and concrete area if children want to create a masterpiece in chalk, there is also a tree swing next to woods. Close to many wineries, breweries and hiking. No WIFI or satellite tv, we have antenna only. You are welcome to bring your own hotspot . We have one smart tv. There is also a private in ground pool for summer time use.

In addition, we are minutes away from all of the popular wedding venues in Orange and a short drive to Shenandoah National Park. Our house on Whistle Stop Farm (so named for the train that passes by) is next to the cottage if you need us. Otherwise, the place is yours. Come enjoy some time in country!

Secluded wooded setting with pond view, less than 1,000 feet from main house and only 5 miles from downtown Culpeper with it's fine dining and quaint shops. Take a short drive to scenic Shenandoah hiking & biking trails, local vineyards and distilleries, Civil War sites, Commonwealth Equestrian Park, stroll around the farm or just unwind on the front porch or in front of the wood stove with a good book.

Hidden Haven is just that! A 600 square foot romantic, private, peaceful, little haven. Hidden in the woods just 6 miles outside of the Town of Orange. Open the garage door in the living area and step out on the 300 square foot screened in porch where you can relax at the firepit under the covered roof. On the porch at Hidden Haven, we like to say, "time wasted is time well spent". The romantic vibe and modern amenities make it a prefect place for a couple's getaway.
