Along with a private drive and entrance, you will have 1,000 square feet of comfort all to yourselves. This property is perfect for a quiet getaway we all need from time to time. You'll find us tucked in the quiet woods of northern WI near the Brule River. We're remote enough to experience star-filled skies & fireflies, but not far from many premier attractions. Your space is a self-contained apartment on the lower level of our 2.5 story home. It features a private entry, queen-sized bed, kitchenette, lower level private deck, access our beautiful grounds & more! We're a family of artists who love to travel & to introduce others to our beautiful part of the world.

Quiet sunlit studio near vibrant downtown

This architect-designed studio is bathed in natural light, with skylights and a breakfast nook with a wrap-around window. Featuring an upscale bathroom with a walk-in shower, this comfortable space has all the amenities perfect for a quick weekend getaway or a week-long business trip. The studio adjoins a house and is up a flight of stairs through a separate outdoor entrance. Located just up the hill—a 5-minute walk—to Downtown Middleton and a 15-minute drive to UW and Downtown Madison.

Maple Ridge Guest Apartment

This apartment was added to the back of our detached garage about 5 years ago. Low or no VOC products were used throughout construction. Brand new appliances installed with an oven big enough to cook the biggest turkey I’ve ever dreamed of. Spectacular ridge top views and beautiful starry nights. Hiking and cross country ski trails on the property of about 75 acres. Pick hazelnuts in the fall, collect and boil your own maple sap in the spring and pick blueberries in the summer.

We’re located just outside of town with easy access to all that the beautiful Waupaca area has to offer. Only 10 minutes from the Chain! The property is surrounded by Maple and Oak mature forest yet has an open meadow perfect for picnics and star gazing. It is beautiful here; you can rest and recharge close to nature. Adventure Outpost is totally updated and designed for your comfort and convenience. The space is cozy, light and refreshing and big enough for the whole family!

The Bunkhouse on Balsam Lake

The Bunkhouse is a beautifully appointed, spacious full apartment above a large garage with private entrance. Located on beautiful Balsam Lake, you will enjoy shared access to the lake. If you wish to use the dock for a single watercraft or rent a pontoon, please let me know at the time of booking to ensure availability. Enjoy The Bunkhouse for its cozy northwoods atmosphere year round while exploring everything Balsam Lake and the surrounding Polk County area has to offer.
