Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

Appletree cottage is a Grade II listed, newly restored country building in the stunning Suffolk village of Chelsworth. Self contained and private, ideal for a weekend away, or longer stay. With a sunny south facing window seat and view into the garden. Our beautiful rural location is a perfect base to explore Suffolk. There are riverside walks or over the fields to the surrounding villages. Historic Lavenham is 5 miles away. A highly awarded pub a 5 minute walk and village shop 2 miles.

The Old Dairy is a refurbished and modern annexe attached to a traditional Suffolk Farmhouse. We are set in beautiful gardens up a long private lane. The annexe is accessed via a private patio overlooking a moat and gardens. The setting is very peaceful. We are surrounded by farmland and footpaths. It’s the ideal location for a romantic getaway or for friends to use as a base to explore Constable country and the many cycle routes, footpaths & pubs. A private patio is perfect for Summer BBQs.

The Old Stables

On the Suffolk Essex border surrounded by fields, trees, and plenty of wildlife lies our old late 18th century stable building. Just 5 minutes off the A12 and you are in a different world. We live in the thatched Farm Cottage, the oldest part dating back to the 15th century and the stable is situated at the end of the drive. Excellent location for cycling (on the National Cycle Route 1), or visiting Jimmys Farm just 4.9 miles up the road. Walking is a must or just relax and unwind!

A 2 bedroomed cosy studio unit. One kingsize bedroom, the other with bunk beds which are for children’s use. Dining area with table and chairs, living room area with two sofas, small kitchenette and bathroom with shower. The studio has been newly decorated and very easy to live in. Whether your stay is for a holiday in Suffolk or visiting friends or relatives, you will find the location relaxing and rural but close to amenities.
