Rustic Cottage in a Wild Flower Meadow

Sitting pretty in a wild flower meadow surrounded by open fields, this barn conversion is countryside simplicity at its best: updated appliances and rustic furniture arranged for open-plan living to relax unwind and enjoy the tranquil surroundings. The barn is located in the meadow behind our thatched cottage. The space is entirely your own and is self catered with a well equipped open plan kitchen. We're on hand should you need any advice or assistance during your stay, though you'll have your own privacy and can interact as much or as little as you'd like. Enjoy pastoral tranquility here whilst being within an easy 10-minute reach of the medieval charm of Lavenham. Public footpaths are close by or venture further afield to admire the beautiful Cathedral in Bury St Edmunds. Once you arrive in the barn, there is a small collection of books about the surrounding area and county. We can of course recommend places to visit.

The Barn has been welcoming guests since 2012 and has recently been renovated to modernise and brighten the home. It was previously listed on AirBnB as Garden Lodge. Set on a very quiet lane in the gorgeous Suffolk village of Charsfield, The Barn is perfectly located for easy access to the wonderful Suffolk Coast. Unique getaway in stunning riverside setting

The Stables is in a beautiful peaceful part of Suffolk, on the River Deben, with footpaths, wild swimming, pubs within walking distance, birdwatching, views for artists, and fabulous lanes for cycling. Perfect for paddle boarders and kayaks too. The Stables have been converted into a cosy country cottage with contemporary furnishings, fitted kitchen, bedroom with super king bed, en suite bathroom, shower room, wood burner, 2 TVs and wifi, books and games, and tennis court (by arrangement).

South facing with extensive views across the rolling countryside, it is self contained and private, perfect for a quiet relaxing holiday, a romantic break or a base for exploring the rich heritage and beautiful villages around us. There are good pubs within comfortable walking distance and footpaths and narrow lanes to explore close by - or just take a wander around the farm.

Queenies Cottage has been beautifully restored to retain many original architectural features whilst providing modern comforts; underfloor heating, woodburner, fitted kitchen , downstairs wet room and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Set well back from the road, the south-facing, private garden has an additional covered dining space, great in àll seasons. The Hayloft is a light, spacious, open-plan, self catering unit for two. A romantic countryside retreat within part of Deepwell Barn, a converted grade II listed thatched building. Lovely walks, bike rides and pubs nearby. Close to Lavenham, Bury St Edmunds and picturesque local villages. As well as a private enclosed garden, guests have use of the larger garden, with fire pit, hammock and BBQ, a lovely setting in which to unwind and enjoy the countryside.
