“This property is modern and spacious and in a great central location. Providing tea, Nespresso coffee, wood for the log fire and of course the car for some “off the beaten track” exploring, were all very much appreciated added extras. We would have no hesitation in staying should we visit the spectacular Waiheke Island again.”

“Wow! The AIRBNB of a lifetime! The treehouse is a beautiful, comfortable space that enables you to connect with nature without sacrificing any amenities. The design is incredible, and fun, too! The birds outside the house are so beautiful and watching them through the binoculars, which are provided, made me realize how cool bird watching is! Pulleys (easy, easy ones) to access the bathroom and hang clothes make the space interesting and functional. The bed is incredibly comfortable and the claw foot tub is very relaxing! A vinyl player and excellent surround sound make for great evening listening while drinking wine! The location is ideal, too — on Waiheke’s “Far End,” which gives you a chance to get away from it all and provides easy access to Man O War and Passion Rock vineyards as well as incredible hiking just a short drive away. Wayne and Sue are both incredibly hospitable and caring — any questions or queries we had were promptly responded to and accommodated — we really enjoyed their great customer service. Things to remember — there are quite a few steps to the tree house so pack judiciously — if you have a heavy suitcase like we did, best to pack a duffle ahead of time with just the essentials and leave the heavy, unnecessary stuff in your rental car. This was not a problem for us at all. Also, on that note, you’ll definitely want to rent a car — this place is too far for a cab — but frankly, driving around Waiheke is half the fun of seeing the place! Many thanks to Wayne and Sue and we hope to see you and your lovely space again soon!”
Wake to the sound of birdsong in this leafy oasis. Flanked by Nikau palms, mostly visited by our large Kereru for the red berries, a natural native bird sanctuary. This contemporary cottage boasts sleek, modern finishes with desert-chic decor and up cycled furniture. Set in an subtropical garden with lush vegetation, private and tranquil. Home away from home, enjoy this piece of paradise. Great location 300m to Palm Beach, restuarant and local store. Large selection of excellent vineyards and numerous walking trails across the island.
“My partner and I stayed over a weekend, and were made to feel extremely welcome. The bungalows are surrounded by beautiful bush and feels like you’re in your own jungle paradise but are only a few mins in any direction to wineries and the ferry terminals. The bed was extremely comfortable, and amenities were perfect. We were welcomed with a couple of delicious local Beers. And we’re given firewood to use in the outdoor fireplace. We organised use of the hot tub which is heated by a fire and made for a lovely and relaxing end to our evening. We’d definitely return here when back on the island”
