“Impressive decor with everything you need for your stay. However, the space possibly want intended as a studio so there's no wardrobe. There is a rack downstairs if you want to hang your clothes though. Although this is a separate studio with its own entrance and on the top level of the family home, it feels as if it's intended to be part of the home and I wonder about noise privacy. We didn't have any issues but it was just my daughter and I. Maybe a couple would want to feel more secluded.”
Our place is the best of two worlds, offering you the wonderful peace and quiet of our harbourside property and being only 15 minutes from the city. Perfect for relaxing after a busy day sight seeing. Great walkways and fabulous views of the city
“Very clean room / bathroom in the great house of the hosts, with terrace and garden, beautiful plants and a lake access. We enjoyed the view of the Auckland skyline from the terrace. Very great and warm hosts. We felt very comfortable and can only recommend it. The house is in a great residential area, we didn't like the city of Auckland so much, but the zoo is great, we can also recommend it.”
A detached, self contained garden studio, with its own access. An easy walk to the vibrant restaurants, cafes and boutiques in Ponsonby. The studio is a 25 minute walk to the CBD. A bus stop at the top of the street connects all inner city suburbs. In the kitchen is a microwave, also provided are milk, jam, toast bread, various teas and coffees.
“A beautiful, quiet space located centrally in ponsonby. Great cafes amd resturants within close walking distance. That space is as described with a few thoughtful touches like cereal, bread, milk, umbrella etc. Peter was great at providing local information and then just left us to it. Private detached studio with own access out the back of their lovely home. Thanks for having us, we will be back!”
