The unique half-timbered skate is a 450-year-old half-timbered barn that has been remodeled for residential purposes. The roof truss and clean cover had to be renewed. Since sheep stables have the property to have a small ceiling height, the small cottage had to be built up 1 m. An estimated 400 new wooden nails have been handmade to get the truss of its ancient look. The old sheepfold floor also found its application in the outer base and as an exterior trim.

If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

The apartment is located close to the historic Nikolaihof in the southern part of the village, about 20 minutes by bike from Lüneburg. It is about 5 km to the city center of Lüneburg.
