Henham Barns wedding venue 3 miles away and Thorington outside theatre within walking distance, nature reserve and marsh a 2 minute walk, ideal for wildlife and bird watching. Two pubs nearby. Within the catchment area for Sizewell - 20 minutes by car.

Tranquil creative space near Southwold

Ditch Studio is a self contained, contemporary extension to an 18th century workers cottage on the Henham estate ( home to Latitude festival ). A tranquil haven surrounded by a wild garden, fields and ancient woodlands.The Studio was crafted by its artisan hosts using sustainable and reclaimed materials where possible. The ground floor has a polished concrete floor with underfloor heating, a galley kitchen and wet room with a Moroccan plastered shower. Upstairs is the attic bed/sitting room.

A private courtyard is surrounded by lush greenery and flowering plants in various pots. A large terracotta pot serves as a focal point, complemented by a wooden table set for two. Natural light enhances the warm tones of the rustic brick and stone flooring.

Courtyard Cottage is a self-contained wing of our house set in a lovely countryside location in Suffolk Wildlife protected wooded heathland. Beautiful spiral staircase up to the bedroom with super king bed & en suite. French windows off the kitchen to pretty private courtyard. Lovely country walks from the door. Perfect for walking/birdwatching/cycling/relaxing. Walberswick and Dunwich beaches within 15 mins drive. RSPB Minsmere nearby. Village shop & pub 5 mins walk. Woodburner in winter.

Daisy Cottage … discover Suffolk

Spend a little time savouring the delights of Suffolk in this little gem of a cottage so close to the beaches of Walberswick and Southwold. Come back to the wood burner in the autumn and winter and a lovely meal cooked for you at the Queens Head just 10 minutes walk away. Our Cottage is pet friendly for one dog, please add this when you make your booking. Due to the authentic nature of the cottage it is not suitable for infants or the infirm with its Suffolk brick flooring.

This country cottage dates to 1880. It is on the outskirts of Wenhaston, 5 miles from the coast. It is a real escape to the country, overlooking Suffolk Wildlife Trust reserve. With cows grazing and birds singing it seems idyllic. Lavender cottage sleeps 5 in 3 bedrooms, a king size master, double bedroom and single bedroom. The modern kitchen/diner with new appliances has dining for 6, while the cosy living room has a log burner. Accessed down a bridle path.

Peaceful, country setting in Suffolk, near coast

Located just outside Wenhaston on a quiet country lane, the Cottage is tucked away off-road. It’s secluded and tranquil with aspects towards the trees of the garden and the neighbouring paddocks. The bird feeder by the patio attracts garden birds plus occasional visitors which may include woodpeckers, pheasants, hawks, warblers and rabbits. Nightingales and owls can sometimes be heard. Although peaceful, we’re within easy reach of the coast.

Self contained private semi-detached cottage. Open plan living, dining and kitchenette. Large bedroom with wardrobes and a super king size bed plus a small double sofa bed in the living space. Featuring a spacious wet room with shower, loo and basin. Views over a lake on Henham Park which is on Suffolk's coast near Southwold and Aldeburgh. Access to the park is not possible unfortunately due to farming and event commitments.

Luxury for two in a single storey barn conversion

Our guests love the space in The Cowshed, an open plan area for just the two of you, loads of worktop and cupboard space for the preparation of meals and storage of your provisions. The garden is a real sun trap and a great place to relax and eat al fresco. We have developed a Prairie garden in part of our garden and guests are welcome to walk through the Prairie which is at its best from May. Parking: 2 parking spaces

A warm and inviting sitting area is presented with two comfortable sofas positioned around an inglenook fireplace, which features a wood burning stove. Natural light filters through a skylight, enhancing the wooden flooring and rustic beams visible throughout the space.
