Holiday home for rent We have decided to rent out our lovely summerhouse located on Grasten on the island of Thurø, which has a fixed connection to Svendborg. 200 meters from the summerhouse is the tourist ferry Helge to, and with it you can sail all the way to Svendborg city. The house is 74 m2 and consists of kitchen-living room, 1 bathroom, hallway, bedroom, children's room and repos with sofa bed. Large south facing wooden terrace with garden table/chairs and barbecue. The house is located right next to Svendborgsund. Yes in fact it is only 10 meters down to your own beach and its own bathing jetty, from where you can take a nice dip, catch crabs, collect rocks and hit out, build sand castles, only the imagination sets limits. After various beach activities, a shower can be enjoyed under the house's outdoor shower, which has both cold and hot water. The view is absolutely phenomenal with a view to Langeland, Tåsinge (Valdemarslot). On the sea there is always life of sailing ships and boats, as our house is located right at the entrance to Svendborg. In addition, many birds, guinea pigs and seals are seen. Everywhere there is green and peaceful, no noise from cars, only bird whistle to break the silence. There are large woods a walk away. If you are a fishing interest, flatfish, trout etc. can be caught from the jetty. We have two kayaks and two children's kayaks that are welcome to borrow. Life jackets for children and adults are also available. We also have a lovely wooden Finnish sauna, built from real fins there ourselves train wood and oven from Finland. Enjoy a deep in the sea and then experience the warmth of the lovely sauna. There is room for 1 family a max 4 people. You must bring your own linen, towels, dishcloths, tea towels, etc. We don't have a TV, but plenty of board games 😉 Wifi is available. Facilities: Dishwasher, washing machine, oven, hot plate, electric kettle, fridge + freezer, nespresso machine, toaster. The house is heated with electric heating, in addition to wood pellet stove.
