Brand new cozy cottage 52 m2 with two bedrooms, set with in our farm Hraunháls on Snæfellsnes peninsula. Between Stykkishólmur (20km) and Grundarfjörður (20 km). The cottage has all basic necessities, stove with oven, kettle, coffee maker, toaster, fridge and freezer also washing machine, smart flat screen and free Wi-Fi. There’s a nice patio around the cottage where you can enjoy the beautiful nature and view, listen to birds singing in the summer and spot the northern lights in the winter.

A modern guest house built in a turf house style is showcased against a mountainous backdrop. The exterior features wooden accents and large glass doors, with balconies extending from the structure, offering views of the surrounding landscape.

Háafell Lodge

Welcome to Háafell Farm where we raise sheep, keep horses and have one friendly dog. Our private guest house is located 200 meters above the farm, up the mountain at 130 meters above sea level. It is a recently built (2020), 100 square meter, modern “turf house style” house. Háafell means “The High Mountain” and has a long river that cascades down its side with several tiers of waterfalls. It is a five minute walk to our canyon and it is possible to take a cold bath in one of the waterfalls.

Cozy Summerhouse in Sudavik

This old cozy house in the old part of Súðavík was originally the post office for the town and the home of the postmaster and his family. It has now been renovated and changed into a summerhouse. It is well located with a short walking distance to the local playground, the harbor and The Arctic Fox Centre. It only takes about 15 minutes to drive over to Ísafjörður, the "capital" of the Westfjords, where you can find grocery stores, a bakery, banks, gift shops and restaurants.

Cozy house in the heart of the old village

Relax in the hot tub while your kids play in the biggest family garden of Vestfjords. It's only few meters away. Large terrace and spectacular views of the mountains all around you. You can expect to see newly born lambs running in the hills and listen to the wildlife all around. 4 bedrooms, 1,5 bathrooms, dining space for over 12 people, washing machine, dish washer and more. If you need to recharge your batteries or are planning a family gathering this is the place to be :)

Sea View House you can enjoy the gorgeous skies and sea for both sunrise and sunset from either the front terrace or on cooler days from inside the house where it will be cosy and warm, a truely special location. Overall the house has a wonderful connection with the sea and mountains with sea-views and mountain views throughout the house. You can absorb the sunshine from the sun soaked south facing patio with your morning coffee whilst enjoying the sea and mountain views.

Bjarg is a summerhouse in Bjarnarfjordur, 25 km from Hólmavík. Excellent location for travelling to North/South Strandir or Westfjords. The house stands by the river that runs down the valley. It is a quiet place an excellent place to see the northern lights. Swimming pool and geothermal hot tubs are located in Laugarhóll about 1 km from the house. Outside the house is a fire place, surrounded with trees. Good for quiet evening under the sky and aurora borealis.
