The studio is 22 m2. A small kitchen corner, a bathroom with a shower. Baby bed is available. Only a few minutes walk to one of the best swimming pool in Reykjavik area and just 10 minutes walk to Smàralind, one of the biggest mall. A bus station is just in front of the house, only 15 minutes to downtown Reykjavík. Plenty of parking spaces, free of charge. You will find a supermarket 5 minutes walk from us. Many nice walking paths in our neighborhood.
“Very accommodating. We needed to check in earlier on short notice, and she responded very quickly and were happy to help us. Good location. If you have a car it's very easy to get around anywhere, and plenty of parking.”
A nice little cottage "Sunnukot" which is a renovated studio near a private house in a quiet area by the sea. It is located in the town of Kópavogur next to the capital Reykjavík which is easily accessible by bus. The first bus stop is just situated in the street above, few minutes walk away. It takes only 10 minutes to get to Reykjavík center by car. Fully equipped kitchen and good dining area. Private bathroom with a shower. All linen and towels are provided. Supermarkets are close by.
“The beautiful house is located right next to the family home in a suburb of Reykjavik. We were only there for one night, so I can't say much about the area, except that at Braudkaup you can get a great burger a few streets away :) Reykjavik center is only 15 minutes away by car. The guest house is right next to the family home, but there is a separate entrance and the houses are separated by a narrow path to the garden. The house is very simple, but very practical and you have both a comfortable bed (about 160cm wide, only a large duvet) and a small kitchen with a table. The bathroom is nice and big enough. Everything was sparkling clean and very lovingly prepared. Sylvie is a wonderful host who is always happy to help, who is interested and with whom I was able to use the washing machine and dryer - very helpful for a multi-week trip to Iceland! In the fridge there was milk, water and homemade jam and we were even allowed to take a small glass of jam with us. I highly recommend Sylvie's guest house to anyone who wants to discover Reykjavik and the surrounding area!”
My place is about 10-15 minutes drive by car from the city centre (NOT WALKING DISTANCE). Free parking. The apartment is in a quiet neighbourhood, but is close to the main bus station in Reykjavík and public transport and easy commute to the city centre with buses. You’ll love my place because of the coziness and the quiet neighbourhood. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travelers.
“Helga is an amazing host. Always replied quickly and helped with any questions we had. Her place is in a good location just outside of the city centre, which you need to drive to, or get a bus. Parking is right outside. She'd keep us updated with any tours she was running and ask if we would like to join. If we travel back to Iceland, we would definitely stay again.”
