Spacious yet cozy 93 square meters cottage located at the edge of the Snæfellsnesjökull national park. The cottage is beautifully decorated and well equipped. Me and my wife fell in love with the un-earthly beauty of the Snæfellsnes peninsula and especially the area around the glacier and simply had to own our own getaway at this magical place which was voted the #1 place to visit in the wintertime (travelandleisure), and amongst Europe's 25 most interesting villages (Business Insider)

My house is private, comfortable and set in stunning surroundings with open views. I have made a big effort to make it as homey as possible and equipped it with most necessities and really comfortable beds. The house is located on the edge of Arnarstapi village, closely surrounded by the ocean, vast lava fields, mountains and the majestic Snæfellsjökull. Every season there has it´s own charm but the beauty and peacefulness is always present, pulling you out for various activities.

The cabin is quite well planned, open and relaxing with stunning picturesque scenery, as one of a handful of cabins in a secluded area. The cabin is very cosy with a rustic touch, to make your experience as wonderful as possible. We have a fire in the living room ( firewood and Firestarters only provided when possible.) With two double sized beds (140cm) and a sofa bed in the living room so perfect for families and small groups of 4-6.
