“Amazing cabin! Even though we never met the hosts in person, the communication was quick, easy and super nice. The cabin is easy to find and just a stone's throw away from Kirkjufell and Kirkjufellsfoss. Everything was spotlessly clean and well equipped, the kitchen had everything we needed and the blackout curtains worked like a charm. Sheep and their lambs kept our company and we even met the two friendly dogs on our doorstep. Would love to come back one day - highly recommended!”
Hvammur is a small and cozy 80 years old house close to a farm. 2 bedrooms with double beds, 1 very small bedroom with a single bed. Nice sitting room, fully equipped kitchen, shower and wc.
“The cottage is simply fantastic! It is so cosy and, as its name says, it has a soul. We could not have chosen a better place to stay. We wished we could have stayed longer. The location is fantastic and has a fantastic view. The beds are super comfortable and everything spotless around the house. You can feel the love the host has put in the house. Great for a family trip. Thank you for everything!”
The summerhouses are located in middle of the Snæfellsnes penisula near to the town of Grundarfjordur. All modern comforts are in the houses. Outside is playground for children, hot tub, gas-grill (during summertime) and beautiful landscape.
“A very nicely located hut at the foothill of one of the most photographed mountains in iceland, close to the Snaefesjoekull National Park on the east coast of Iceland. Comfortably sleeps 4 people, and 6 with a little bit of squeezing, has all necessary amenities, well maintained and clean. The friendly host stopped by to chat a little bit. Recommendation: We had an absolutely fantastic dinner at the Bjargastein restaurant in the nearby village of Grundarfjoerdur.”
