From the house, it is a 7-10 minute walk to the beach. Just past the house, the Alsstien also passes, which is a marked hiking route along the coast and through forests on the island of Als.

The farm is located in beautiful rural surroundings down to Alssund with its own forest and beach as well as the island's best fishing waters. On Ærø, you can relax in the most beautiful nature. There are many opportunities for hiking, biking or swimming. The Øhavs trail passes by the house. There is also one of the best golf courses in Europe on Skjoldnæs, only about 15 minutes' drive from the farm.
