The Magical Cabin on Back Creek

Magic is the word most people use when they visit this hidden gem. Built in 1939 as a fishing cabin by a gentleman who incorporated box cars as rafters and beams, dates still visible since removing the attic. By far the best place I've ever lived. I decided to share it with others who love to explore, who love listening to the voice of the creek or who come just to sit on the porch high above the creek with a spouse, friend, family, or alone. Homeplace

The Homeplace is in the rural countryside of Floyd, VA surrounded by a family farm with a winding creek nearby. You will enjoy beautiful views of pasture fields that may have cattle and sheep grazing and possibly see various wildlife. This home, built in the 1940’s and situated beside a paved road, has been lived in and gently loved. While experiencing the nostalgia of an old home you will also enjoy modern conveniences such as WIFI, central heat/air, and a fully stocked kitchen and bath.

Chic Mountain Yurt near Floyd and Virginia Tech

Yurt dwelling is indescribably peaceful. Our property is 150 acres, off an end-state maintenance road, though just a 20 minute drive off interstate 81 or to the quaint town of Floyd, or the VT area. This 24' yurt is beautifully modern with a fully-equipped kitchen, bathroom/ shower, TV and (high speed) wi-fi, and comfortable sleeping and hangout spaces- surrounded by acres of streams, trails and natural beauty. Dogs welcome! Note: 1 queen loft bed, one pullout futon; sleeps 2-4, *cozily*!

You will be close to everything, only a few minutes off I-81, 10 minutes to Radford University and 20 minutes to Virginia Tech. A King bed to take all your worries away with a sofa sleeper for a little extra room. Welcome to our little 💎 Enjoy 1500 sq ft of private space! Our Boles Mountain View Suite has keyless entry, 2 queen bed rooms , 2 air mattresses, corner couch and futon, full kitchen, 1 full bath, private pool. Towels and linens provided. Laundry available for guests with a 3 night stay or more. Minutes away from local restaurants, shopping centers, Virginia Tech, University of Radford and the Aquatic Center and only 3 miles from I81 entrance!! We provide WiFi, and 2 Smart TVs.

Cabin on the Creek

This 1 room cabin with kitchenette (2 top burner, small refrigerator, microwave, and coffee maker) with full bath is set on Toms Creek, fifteen minutes drive from Virginia Tech and the town of Blacksburg. The space itself is private, rustic and charming even though we live just next door. We thank you for no pets, vaping or smoking inside the cabin and we are happy to share that our onsite managers, Ray and Mara, will be handling all inquiries on our behalf.

Located approx 15 min from I-77 and minutes from the Blue Ridge Parkway, this is the perfect spot for an evening of rest or as a home base for exploring overlooks, hiking trails, wineries, small mountain towns, and everything that makes this corner of Virginia so special. Listen to the sound of the water from the wraparound deck, relax in the private barrel sauna, or simply curl up with a good book while summer rain dances across the metal roof overhead.

Modern Cabin w/ Hot Tub - Romantic Retreat

The Cabin is a luxurious rural escape, with a 3-person hot tub. Located on a permaculture homestead and native plant sanctuary, the space overlooks the garden and is surrounded by forest. Natural/local materials were used throughout (built in 2023). For larger groups, check out the guest house next door (Airbnb: Guest House on Homestead near Floyd/Blacksburg). ~10 miles to Floyd, ~20 miles to Blacksburg, ~35 miles to Roanoke.

Set just under one mile from the center of the Town of Floyd! LOTS of shopping, restaurants and friendly people nearby. Check out The Jacksonville Center for the Arts which is VERY nearby.
