Paved road access and 3/4 mile from downtown Mena. This house has one queen, one full, and two twin beds: sleeps six total. If you are here for the mountain-biking, ride a few blocks to the trails on the ever expanding Mena Trail Project. Bike wash outside back door and then store them inside the house by the fireplace. Side by sides? We have fenced parking for them in the back. Three bedrooms: queen, full, and two twins. Full kitchen and laundry facilities. Bath offers full size shower

The Cottage at Acorn

We are ready for Christmas! The Cottage at Acorn is located in the Heart of the Ouachita Mountains and only 4 miles to Mena. The Cottage is a double cylinder block mother-in-law suite, with concrete floors, pine ceilings and vintage decorations. Walking distance from a playground, walking track, and Veterans Memorial Park. Covered concrete parking (with a basketball goal) and an outdoor covered patio. There are 2 entrances, please use The Veterans Memorial Park entrance on Highway 71.

Our home is located near Queen Wilhelmina State Park, the Talimena National Scenic Byway & the Ouachita National Forest. There are beautiful views from the deck and you can see beautiful trees out of every window. Our cozy home is only 6 miles from the town of Mena known for many attractions including the Old Home Train Depot Museum (you can occasionally hear the train go by the house) & fantastic antique shops. You will find so many unique restaurants art galleries and shopping close by.

Enjoy the peace of this cozy cabin. The kitchen is fully stocked with cooking utensils, pots, pans, baking pans, dishes and serving utensils, coffee pot, toaster, microwave, crock pot, blender. We supply coffee etc., salt, pepper. Bath towels, wash clothes, toilet paper and soaps. The beds are made with fresh linens. The covered deck faces the woods where you can enjoy the sound of the river. Cook out on the grill and enjoy a fire in the firepit. Wash your treasures on the outside table.
