This apartment is in the historic Captain Harris House, a beautiful Victorian home (circa 1898), on the National Register of Historic Places, in the Cooper Young district of Midtown. We are within one block of 12 restaurants and bars. It is also close proximity to downtown and the airport. This is a very cozy and romantic studio apartment where you can just hang out or walk within two blocks to fine dining, live music, or have drinks. It's a great place to experience Memphis at its best.
“This is one of my favorite Airbnbs I have ever stayed in. Chip and Meredith's home is like out of a fairy tale. We loved learning the history of the Caption Harris House while we were there. The apartment is so cute and homey. We felt completely comfortable. They have everything you could possibly need. The neighborhood is great, as well! There's a delicious bakery and coffee shop next door and 2 restaurants directly across the street. Chip and Meredith were kind, helpful, and great to talk to. Book this place! You won't regret it.”
Cool 1960's apartment; 2 bdr + 1 bath, plenty of free parking. Few blocks north of St. Jude, within sight of the new Bass Pro Shop in The Pyramid. Few minutes to Beale St. and the Riverwalk. Perfect neighborhood for biking. We live above the unit.
“Larry and Casey’s place was everything we had hoped for and more, during our stay in Memphis. Larry and Casey were welcoming and warm and made us feel safe and comfortable during our stay. The most hospitable Airbnb hosts I’ve encountered. They recommended great local restaurants that were all close by. We had both of their cell phone numbers and they were easy to get in touch with when we had questions. The place itself had everything we needed. The beds were comfortable, the kitchen was fully equipped and the shower was great. I would absolutely recommend their place to anyone visiting Memphis and it is one of the few air bnbs I’ve stayed in that I would gladly want to come back to and stay again. Thank you Larry & Casey for giving us a true Memphis experience!”

“Buckle up people... you are in for a delightful stay! From the get go, there was a “welcome spice loaf” and a personalized note that welcomes you into this warm, neatly arranged space. You can appreciate all of the upgrades done to the fixtures and bathroom area (I love a clean, modern bathroom). The bathroom had SOOOO MANY TOWELS!! Who doesn’t love that?! You don’t use them all, but you’re just happy that they are there right? Amidst the national pandemic, they had cleaning products available in the bathroom and ANTIBACTERIAL HAND SOAP!! I have a thing for hand soap on a daily lifestyle kick— so this was perfect as I forgot my own this ONE TIME!! Anything you would have at a hotel- they had it. Except they had a FLAT IRON!! Top that! I had to communicate with them a couple of times prior to arrival and it was always pleasant and we got some things clear to make the stay be what it was— amazing. During the stay, I needed to reach out kind of late and I got a response. You can’t ask for more. They picture-journaled renovations to their home. It was nice to have a sneak peek into their lives and you felt like it was a very personal moment. The bed was hard to turn loose!! It was the perfect firm and softness mash up! They had a lot of pillows that were equally snuggle worthy and I could just have a meeting from the bed there. The refrigerator had several nice “take aways” (snagged a V8 and tea for the road). It was a super nice convenience for guests (Sprites, Coke, water, and a beer) ... oh gosh I thought we had a crisis because I brought wine and no WINE OPENER!!! Of course I got to digging around the kitchen area and TADAAAA... saved by Mark and Fab!! Thanks for it all— book people.. just don’t take The Weekends I need lol”
