Wonderful & Cosy Vacation Home

Spend your vacation in Sønderho - Denmark's Most Beautiful Village in 2011. Beautiful and charming fanøhaus, carefully restored in 2011, with emphasis given to the conservation of the old fanø style with small windows with its distinctive color. The house is bright and beautiful with accommodation for 6 people. The interior is a tasteful mix of old and new. Situated on 2500 m2 of heather-clad area, about 1 km. from Sønderho city center The house has 6 beds, beautiful new kitchen with dishwasher, a large oven and induction. You will find a comfortable spacious terrace, with good shelter from the east and west winds. The property stands in the wild and there is by nature plenty of heather and pine trees. The house is 110 m2, is thatched roofed and is painted in the old style over the small windows in black, white and green - symbolizing sadness, joy and hope. Over the entrance door there's a hatch, a "arkengaf", which was once the entrance to the attic where they kept hay, heather, and others like that stored. On the ground floor, you will find the entrance hall, a spacious living room with large corner couch, and a dining area with an old long table with a stroke bench and 4 beautiful decorated chairs. Kitchen with induction hob, oven, dishwasher and a fridge with small freezer compartment. Bathroom with shower, bedroom with double bed and a rear entrance with washer and dryer. On the first floor are two bedrooms. One with double bed and one with two single beds. There is also a small toilet. The living room has flat screen TV. The house is equipped with a power-saving and energy efficient heat pump / air conditioner, to heat up the house, it has a fireplace (stove) and electric radiators as well. The heat pump is environmentally friendly and very energy efficient. This means that the house energy cost is very low in cold periods, and makes an ideal holiday home in the winter. The heat pump can be used as air conditioning in the summer time. Large wooden terrace with garden furniture, sun loungers and a barbecue.

The house is located in the heart of Mandø. Amid the Wadden Sea National Park. Cozy decor with older antique furniture, as well as its own ceramics and soap. The house has a fantastic light, as well as direct access to its own terrace in the apple garden where the view is magnificent, and close to the sea. In the house you can find tranquility and get nature up close, as well as enjoy the sight of all the beautiful birds that break on Mandø. At the house are bikes, which can be borrowed. There is a small grocery store on Mandø. Electricity and heat are not charged.

A gravel courtyard is surrounded by a charming orange building, featuring white-framed windows and a sloping roof. Potted plants are arranged throughout, while a decorative fire pit sits centrally, adding character to the outdoor space. Comfortable seating areas invite relaxation.

Klostergården - a cozy farm close to Ribe

The farm is an old family farm, which is close to Ribe, the Viking center, the Wadden Sea, Legoland and lovely Jutland nature. Here, generations have lived and cultivated a heathland that now stands as arable land and forest. Today, the farm is inhabited by Eva and Niels, the parrots, dogs, Icelandic horses, chickens and cats Alicia and Matrosky. The nature around the farm invites good walks and horseback rides. The garden is a great place for kids, with plenty of room for playing on swings, basketball, and trampoline. The farm is organic.

We live in the farmhouse on the property, at the end of a quiet gravel road, with lovely tranquility and rural surroundings. We are a family with 2 children. We have horses, pygmy goats, cats, dogs. In front of the house is the heron in the lake and there is the opportunity to see buzzards, swallows, ducks, etc., as well as large flocks of starlings in spring and autumn. On beautiful natural grounds, secluded from the road is our cozy cottage. Modernized with new kitchen, bathroom, roof and facade. In addition, there is a wooden terrace facing both south and west, so you can enjoy the morning sun, the noon sun and the evening sun. The house has a heat pump that can easily keep the house warm. There is also a wood-burning stove as a supplement. (Bring your own firewood or buy it on the island) There is also chrome-cast for the TV.

The immediate proximity of the home to Vidåen - which is a mecca for fishermen - allows you to dock, with a small dinghy in connection with the grounds.
