Old school in the blue country! Peace and quiet!

The teacher's house with adjacent former dwarf school is located with its large garden on the outskirts of the small village of Strüth im Taunus. A few steps in front of the front door, hiking trails lead into nature. The premonstratenser monastery is also worth a visit. In the village itself there is a bakery , a hairdresser and a restaurant. In addition, a doctor and a pharmacy. All other shopping facilities (Lidl, Aldi, Rewe, DM, organic shop, etc.) are located (about 10 minutes by car) in Nastätten.

Hohenstein is not a transit point and is very quiet at an altitude of about 360 m. The nearest EK stores are 3.5 km away. Hohenstein Castle (over 800 years old, 150 meters away) offers six weeks of castle festivals in summer and is open daily from 10 am to 6 pm. Three beautiful golf courses are about 25 minutes away. The hiking trails "Rheinsteig," "Burgensteig," "Wispertal" and the "Rheingau-Riesling-Route" can be reached quickly. Guests with bicycles get their money's worth. E-bikes would be great.

We offer our "cottage" here! It is located directly on the edge of the forest behind our house and is part of an old mill farm in the middle of the forest! We are 1 kilometer away from the nearest neighbor and the nearest supermarket is 6 kilometers away. This is not a luxury hostel, but if you are looking for absolute peace and a hiking paradise in the midst of the most beautiful nature, you have come to the right place! In the cold season, you MUST additionally heat with the fireplace!

A vacation in beautiful nature in the heart of the Rheingau near the Schloß Vollrads and Schloss Johannisberg wineries in Stephanshausen. Please feel at home in my detached house with garden! Priceless but nevertheless included: fantastic views over a horse paddock and beyond the Rhine. From here you can start wonderful hikes. We rent a studio apartment that has 3 levels and is 75m2. This is located on the 2nd floor (top floor) in a 3-family house. We live with our 2 dogs and a cat on the ground floor, which are friendly to all people. It is a quiet, green area and you have nearby (450m) shopping (net, bakery, pharmacy, hairdresser...). Bus connection to the city: 5/15. We offer the guests do not leave pets alone.
