Old Gardener’s House – a waterside paradise

The former gardener’s house, originally built in 1710, is nestled in the stunning natural landscape of the picturesque Holsteinische Schweiz, directly on the Schwentine River, one of Schleswig-Holstein’s longest rivers. In 2025, the house was lovingly restored with meticulous attention to detail. The result is a true gem situated directly opposite Schleswig-Holstein’s oldest manor estate. The surrounding landscape of lakes, fields, forests, and gentle hills lends the area its captivating charm.

Tegelstuuv Vacation Home

Our cozy Tegelstuuv on the Tegelhof welcomes guests from all over the world who would like to spend a few days experiencing Probstei and the Baltic Sea region. This is how the old granary of the former cowshed was transformed into a charming guest apartment with three rooms and a cozy living-dining area. The apartment is centrally located in the courtyard, surrounded by gardens, trees, and a real courtyard atmosphere. If you're lucky, you'll still find a breakfast egg in the chicken coop below.

In addition, the train station is about 5 minutes' walking distance and you can reach Kiel main train station or the Schusterstadt Preetz within 10 minutes. You can end the day optimally on the loggia (south-east orientation). Wi-Fi, smart TV with streaming services & bicycle parking available.
