Kibler Valley Cabin

Our cabin is located in the picturesque Kibler Valley just over the Virginia state line. It is equidistant from Mt Airy, NC and Stuart, VA. It is located directly on the Dan River, just down the mountain from it's headwaters. The property sits 4 miles down a 6.5 mile dead-end road. At the end of the road is a hydro-electric power plant. During the summer months Northbrook releases water from the dam on week-ends, depending on resevior levels, which makes for fantastic kayaking and tubing.

The Rock Retreat

This beautiful log cabin, previously known as Indian Creek Cabin, has been an important part of the Hanging Rock Community for many years. It began as the Hanging Rock Outdoor Center. The property is adjacent to the Indian Creek Trail area. It is within a few miles of the Lower Cascade Falls, Dan River, Moore's Spring bike trails, and of course, Hanging Rock State Park. Now owned and operated by three sisters, one a CPA, one a retired public school principal, and one a pastor of a local Methodist Church. The farm hosts Angus cattle, deer, turkeys, small creeks, a fish pond and is ideal for hiking, or just peace of mind.
