Very quietly located apartment on the edge of the forest in the small district of Altneudorf of the Odenwald town of Schönau in the district of Heidelberg. On 50 square meters, we offer accommodation with cozy warmth thanks to the included fireplace. The area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails, castles and other destinations, etc. In the summer months (June/July/August/possibly Sept.) our recessed pool (heated by solar - water temperature is therefore dependent on the hours of sunshine) can be used in the garden.

Apartment to feel good in the heart of the old town

Quiet apartment, 45 m², in a completely renovated house, built in 1850, in the middle of the historic old town of Ladenburg. Cozy and furnished to feel good. Restaurants and cafes are right outside the front door. The Neckar and the train station are within walking distance. Heidelberg and Mannheim can easily be reached in about 15 minutes by train. Bikes can be stored in the courtyard, where you can also sit nicely in the summer. For loading and unloading, the car can be parked right in front of the house.

Living in a farmhouse

You will be staying on the ground floor of the converted side building of the farm. Large garden with 2 ponies by a small stream. We produce wood chips for the heat on the farm. Here there are still 20 chickens with fresh eggs every day, 4 goats. Our dog Jule is very sweet. A small sauna and a swimming pool. The terrace, sitting area, fireplace in the garden are free of charge. Costs for sauna in addition €15 per sauna session for 2 people in consultation on site, or bookable is walking with the horses.

Suitable for 6 guests but 8 to 9 are possible. 5 mins walk to train station to Heidelberg Altstadt (20 mins). Two Technik museums (30 mins), Heidelberg Clinics (25mins), Hockenheim Ring (30 mins), TSG Hoffenheim (15 mins). Close to supermarkets, bakery, restaurants, toy shop, cycle paths and woods. Secure bike storage. We follow the cleaning guidelines of the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). You may use the keybox or I can greet you personally with a mask and distance.

The Auto and Technik Museum and the Rhein-Neckar Arena in Sinsheim are also only a few km away. Heidelberg, Mannheim or the Palatinate with all its sights are quickly reached.

Lovingly and high-quality furnished, the Alte Backhaus offers modern comfort in historic walls. You will stay in the middle of Weinheim's lively old town. The Mediterranean market square with many restaurants and pedestrian zone are only one minute away. In 20 minutes by car you are in Heidelberg or Mannheim. Weinheim is located on the Burgensteig. Welcome to our cozy apartment! We have lovingly renovated it and made it a perfect place for a little break. We live here very quietly on the edge of a small village. So if you're looking for supermarkets, bars, etc., you're unfortunately not in the right place. But you get peace and quiet here.
