Vacation home on the edge of the forest near Heidelberg

Very quietly located apartment on the edge of the forest in the small district of Altneudorf of the Odenwald town of Schönau in the district of Heidelberg. On 50 square meters, we offer accommodation with cozy warmth thanks to the included fireplace. The area offers numerous beautiful hiking trails, castles and other excursion destinations, etc. In the summer months (June/July/August/possibly September) our in-ground pool (heated by solar - water temperature is therefore dependent on the hours of sunshine) can be used in the garden.

Vacation in the forest house, Odenwald Neckar Valley Heidelberg

High above the Neckar Valley, the forest house, renovated in 2018, stands on a large garden plot right on the edge of the forest. The house was built in the last century as a retreat from the hustle and bustle of the noisy city and today serves exactly this purpose again. The new cast iron stove, which takes over the heating of the house with logs, fits the character of the house. Without the stove, the cottage remains cold at corresponding outside temperatures!

An old fortress entrance showcases a stone archway framed by greenery. The building features a clock and traditional timber framing with a red-tiled roof. A charming atmosphere is suggested by the cobblestone path leading into the courtyard.

The idyllically located apartment is located in the Dilsberg fortress and is embedded in the historic city wall. It includes a small kitchen-living room, shower/toilet as well as a large living room and bedroom. Two steps lead to a slightly higher dining area.
