This is a great place to get out, get away and talk to each other or enjoy streaming on high speed WIFI. The cabin is completely renovated inside. All bed linens, towels, and cooking utensils are provided. Coffee, spices and cooking oils ready for your use. Wood burning stove, AC/heat pump. Firewood is included. Outside includes a porch with a NEW roof, hot tub and fire pit.

Enjoy your peaceful mountain escape on our 33 acres. We have over a half mile of hatchery supported trout streams to fish (with a stocking point on the property), swimming holes, and private trails located directly on the property. Or with just a 2 minute drive up the road you can be in the South Mountains state park to take some local hikes to some awesome places like the watershed lake. Surrounded on three sides by the Pisgah National Forest with a long-range mountain view from the deck, adventure awaits right outside the door. Sunbear also has high-speed internet for remote work and a backup generator. Cooler months offer backcountry hiking along creeks chocked with waterfalls off the eastern flank of the cabin. Summer features wildlife, Fireflies, and a nice quiet place to escape the summer heat.
