The cabin is 15 min from Grandfather mountain hiking trails, 20 min to Sugar mountain skiing, 30 min to Banner Elk and 30 min to Beech Mountain. This 2 bed/2bath cabin includes a loft area for remote work (really good wifi), extra sleeping space, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and high end bed linens!!

Charming 1940s Cabin on Roaring Creek

We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door! The area offers hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, gem mining, Zip lining, UTVing, dining, antique shopping, wine tastings at local vineyards, etc.

At a mere 200 sq feet, our luxury tiny house makes the most of it’s space. You’ll find a nice size kitchen, washer/dryer combo, closet, queen bed, full size utilities, and a unique shower/Japanese soaking tub combo! Beautiful views of sunrises, hump mountain, banner elk, and beech mountain. The kitchen & living area features tall ceilings but *please note* the bathroom and closet ceiling height is shortened to about 6 ft to make room for the loft bedroom above.

Banner Elk Cozy Cottage Close to Downtown

Let our cozy cottage be your home-base for all your mountain adventures. For mtn biking, you will be minutes away from the trails at Lees-McRae College as well as the bike parks at Sugar and Beech Mountains during the summer. In the winter, you'll have several skiing and snow tubing options within a few miles as we are within 10-15 minutes to Beech or Sugar. Wildcat lake is at the bottom of our street. Bring your fishing gear or kayaks/stand-up boards!

Welcome to the wondrous mountains of Newland, NC! This cozy home is situated up high with a gorgeous view of the mountains and quick access to major grocery stores, gas stations, post offices, restaurants, bars, and fun activities for all seasons. It includes 3 Bedrooms (2 on the first floor, 1 in the basement) with 3 Bathrooms that allow the hosting of up to 6 guests at a time! Enjoy a beautiful rustique interior with comfy couches and beds.
