Our mountain sanctuary

Come relax and play in the great outdoors. Our area is abundant with lakes, rivers, waterfalls and hiking (the Appalachian trail is just a mile away). Our rustic cabin is built from 1875 hand hewn logs and is located on Spivey Creek in Unicoi County Tennessee. The towns of Erwin TN and Burnsville NC are just down the mountain for shopping convenience. For the arts, entertainment and airport convenience Asheville NC and Johnson City TN are less than an hour away. Come stay in our lovely cabin.

We named our space "The Creek House" because of the bold creek that flows down the hill from the cabin. The home is located in a holler with views of the mountains in the distance. It is peaceful with sounds of water cascading over the boulders. You might also hear the occasional neighing & mooing of our neighbors on the farm next door! The area offers hiking, fishing, skiing, tubing, gem mining, Zip lining, UTVing, dining, antique shopping, wine tastings at local vineyards, etc.

Mountain getaway with fantastic views! If traveling in the winter, 4 wheel drive is highly recommended. Access to the cabin is up a steep road (paved and maintained). The cabin is 15 min from Grandfather mountain hiking trails, 20 min to Sugar mountain skiing, 30 min to Banner Elk and 30 min to Beech Mountain. This 2 bed/2bath cabin includes a loft area for remote work (really good wifi), extra sleeping space, etc. Fully stocked kitchen and high end bed linens!!
