When master baker Hans Lange settled here in Saalfed in 1546 with the secret Nuremberg gingerbread recipe, no one could have guessed that his business would continue for 19 generations. We, as the 20th generation, cannot bake as well as our ancestors, but we would like to welcome you instead to our former bakery shop and thus continue the family tradition in a slightly different form. The modernly furnished apartment has light-filled, generously sized and well-kept rooms, ideal for a family holiday. It offers a perfect base for a nature-loving and eclectic holiday in the middle of the Thuringian Forest, which leaves nothing to be desired. Enjoy relaxing and eventful days in the apartment "Friedrich Fröbel" in our old school, which was named after the inventor of the kindergarten.

Cozy non-smoking 1 room apartment 30 sqm in the city, in quiet side alley below the market. Pubs , cafes , shops and museums in the immediate vicinity. Parking is possible in the public parking lots "Eichplatz" (50m) , "island parking lot" (100m) or the "Seidel parking lot" (on foot 10 min) and in the parking garages (every 50 m away). Train stations or bus station within walking distance.

Very nice family-friendly place to stay

The quiet yet central location makes our apartment a good choice. In summer, our courtyard offers a unique flair. Use it for eating, playing, getting together & enjoy nature and the loving details that make this place special. Opposite is a butcher shop. Also within minutes walking distance are a supermarket, a small organic shop and a fast food pizza restaurant.

1 room fully equipped apartment in the center

I offer a newly renovated apartment in the center of Saalfeld. The apartment is equipped with everything (except oil) and has a separate entrance. Everything worth seeing in Saalfed can be reached on foot and there is free parking behind the house. In the entrance area opposite is another (2 room) apartment that I also rent via Airbnb.

Forest Hideout

Our apartment is located in quiet forest surroundings but within walking distance to Sonneberg town centre. It is perfect for hikers and mountain bikers, with hundreds of kilometres of trails leading into the Thuringian Forest national park from our front door.
