One-like half-timbered skate on the ground floor

The unique half-timbered skate is a 450-year-old half-timbered barn that has been remodeled for residential purposes. The roof truss and clean cover had to be renewed. Since sheep stables have the property to have a small ceiling height, the small cottage had to be built up 1 m. An estimated 400 new wooden nails have been handmade to get the truss of its ancient look. The old sheepfold floor also found its application in the outer base and as an exterior trim.

The 1-room basement apartment (45 m²) is located in a single-family home in a cul-de-sac in Ochtmissen. You can reach the city center by car in just 10 minutes. Bus line 5005 leaves almost right outside the door. You can reach the apartment via a separate entrance.
