In the afternoon, take the kids across the street to the incredible Blowing Rock Elementary playground. In the evenings, retreat to the front porch to reflect on your day in the comfortable outdoor furniture and enjoy a beer while listening to music on the lawn (from May to October). A small but inviting front yard is surrounded by a hedge for privacy. Sit under the apple tree in a double Adirondack lounger to maximize your time away or fire up the on-site propane grill for a cookout. Extra Amenities & Details Guest amenities include a washer/dryer, crib and high chair, parking for one car at the main house with access to more parking by request. Although this newly-renovated mid-century home feels eons away from the real world -- as it is perched atop a beautiful mountain with breathtaking sunset views -- it is only about 4 mi/15 minutes away from Downtown Asheville! New mattresses plus quality furniture and fireplace fill the space, and we have fully-stocked the kitchen. The best feature is the deck. We can host up to 8 guests, with 3 beds/bedrooms and 1 sleeper sofa; 2 full baths. We have 2 family rooms — one upstairs and one down.
