This cabin was built in 1952 and recently restored. Premiere mountain biking and hiking are two blocks away at Horse Gulch Trail System. The cabin is on a quiet street nine blocks from downtown Durango shopping and dining . The stainless steel kitchen is designed around a commercial Wolf Stove. Pots, pans, cooking utensils, spices, olive oil, and coffee provided. The bed is a standard double, not a queen, so it may be a bit cramped sleeping if you need a longer bed. Drawers are beneath.

Come enjoy the quiet of the country, only 15 minutes south of town. Stunning views of the La Plata Mountains and dark night skies for great star-gazing! Nice area for cycling and walking. Many of our neighbors have donkeys, horses, llamas and goats, chicken and sheep. No cigarette smoking but we are 420 friendly (outside only please!). We are a safe place for women travelers. There is a Labrador Retriever that lives on this property but is not allowed in the guest suite.

This little farm offers big Mountain View’s, beautiful sunsets, and a bright starry sky. It’s quiet & relaxing, and only 20-30 minutes from downtown Durango. This cute modern style farm house apartment is 850 sq feet, with a cozy queen size bed nook. It is a lower level apartment below our house. It has its own parking, entrance and covered porch with great views of the mountains and big hay fields. We have horses, Nigerian dwarf goats, sheep, chickens and a llama.
