The flat is a traditional Edinburgh flat located in the heart of the desirable Stockbridge area. It is a beautiful area located about 15-20 minutes walk from the city centre. The area is very safe and friendly, and has a strong community spirit. There are also many great bars, cafes and restaurants located 2 minutes walk from the flat.
There are 4 rooms in the flat in total- 2 of them are on airbnb and thats including the room being advertised here.
My favourite cafe is the Pantry, my favourite bar is Hector's Bar, and my favourite restaurant is called The Scran and Scallie

PLEASE NOTE IT'S 1/8 TRINITY COURT Double room with comfy bed in 2-bedroom quite apartment near city centre. The place is situated in a lovely Inverleith area, right next to the lovely Botanic Gardens. There is a bus stop close by 5 minutes walk. 10 minutes away from North Bridge and Princess Street with its magical Edinburgh Castle and 15 minutes away from Arthur Seat! Full access to the kitchen! Wifi is of course included:)
Please note that the two listings under my name are in the same flat. I have two guests rooms and one single bedroom where the property caretaker stays, which means that most of the time he is on site to help you with anything during your stay and answer your questions. The flat is very specious and has a back garden for your use, a balcony with Castle view and a bedroom with Firth of Forth view. As well is a livingroom with a TV you can use 24h and a nice kitchen accessable at all times as well. Parking spaces available just outside the building for free(you can see the car from balcony) so if you travelling by car it's not a problem. Clean linen and towels provided throughout the stay. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, business travellers, and families (with kids).
The flat is situated in a residential area called Inverleith. It is very nice, quite and rather leisurely. It is also very safe. Opposite the street, there is a lovely park where people take their dogs out, run or simply go out for a walk. Although, the area itself is quite, the flat is very near the city centre where you can enjoy all sorts of attractions
  • Lucas's place was an excellent choice for myself and my colleague to stay while on a volunteer training course. The apartment had just about everything we needed (though I would have enjoyed a hair dryer), and the view was nice to look out on as we returned in the evenings. There is access to a beautiful walking trail nearby. Note: the apartment is on the top floor of a multistory building with no lift, so be prepared to climb stairs.

  • Clean, quiet top floor flat. Basic amenities but beds were comfy and generally clean through out. We did not have any hot water though. Needs fixing.

  • Lucas is a very friendly host. He doesn't liv here but we can always contact him when we need help. The check-in and check-out is very flexible. The neighbourhood is very quiet and there are buses directly to city centre. The bus stop is within the walking distance. The room is very clean, when we arrive in middle February, Lucas provides us with a electrical heater which works very well. I would like to live there again if I visit Edinburg in the future.

  • Clair’s self-contained Airbnb is superb! It’s beautifully decorated and if there’s anything you want or need Clair’s thought of it. We had such a good night’s sleep, it’s so quiet, and it was the perfect location for us. There’s a wonderful big bath to soak in in the beautiful ensuite. Will definitely book again when I’m next in Edinburgh.

    Charlotte2018-09-30T00:00:00Z
  • This is a beautiful place only thing that lets it down is the sofa bed but the location is great just a simple 10 minute bus ride in to city centre.

  • The room was very nice and clean, only problem was that there is no shower

    Alex2018-05-23T00:00:00Z
  • Clare's place was a large bedsit at the rear of a large home, which, although it is on a main road (with an off road car space) it was very quiet and convenient to buses that passed . The room was well decorated and nicely presented, however we were expecting a shower in the modern ensuite, instead there was only a bath. Also as mentioned in the listing the bed was a sofa bed which may not suit some people. Clare was not there to greet us, nor to say goodbye, although she did briefly call in to give us the access key.

    Peter2018-06-07T00:00:00Z
  • Clair's place was comfortable and very well located to explore Edinburgh on foot or by bus. Parking on site behind a gate a definite plus. Clair was super responsive to our questions and highly accommodating. The space was clean and well appointed.....just what we needed for a short stay in Edinburgh. What a city!

    Jeffery2018-06-03T00:00:00Z
  • This is a self contained apartment at the back of a beautiful character home & guests are free to come & go as they wish. The unit was wonderfully clean, water was hot, wifi was fantastic & Clair thoughtfully provided some snacks & tea & coffee. It is wonderfully quiet & private & there is a great bus service to downtown- although walking is possible (30 minutes) & very pleasant. Botanical gardens are about a 10 minute walk. Generally a great stay. Thanks Clair!

Twin room in Victorian house with beautiful views overlooking the Botanical gardens and Inverleith park. Only a 10 minute bus 20 min walk into central town but close to busy Stockbridge. Off street Parking.
The house is situated in one of the most wonderful parts of Edinburgh. It shares a wall with the Royal Botanical Gardens and has a lovely surrounding garden, yet only a 10 minute bus ride or 20 min walk into town. The room has twin beds and ample storage space.
  • We really liked stay on this house. Scot and Sandra were very very good host. They offered us foods, drinks and free rides which was very helpful. Also they helped us to know the city very well. With their help we could visit all the city and not only the tourist places which sometimes is very dificult staying in a hotel

    Ary2016-05-24T00:00:00Z
  • We felt very at home with Sandra and Scott. They were over the top with their hospitality. We'd definitely stay with them again!

    Kathy2016-06-25T00:00:00Z
  • Part of me wants to leave a negative comment, because I want to keep Scott and Sandra for myself...but the truth gets in the way. Sandra and Scott have helped me and my friend Grazia immensely during the first days of our move to Edinburgh. The very first day, as we were getting to theirs late, Scott offered to pick us up from town. This had been a great relief from us, considering that we had huge luggage and no knowledge about Edinburgh at all. During the days with them, Scott and Sandra offered us not only a roof but also a friendly environment, advices, food, wine, and lovely conversations. As we're moving to Edinburgh I'll certainly keep in touch with them and will ask all my friends and family to book here, should they come and see me. This is definitely the best airbnb experience I've had.

    Alessandro2014-09-10T00:00:00Z
  • I cannot recommend staying with Scott and Sandra highly enough. beautiful accommodation, attentive hosts. This was our second stay and we intend to be back again next year!.

    Karen2018-08-18T00:00:00Z
  • Sandra’s place was a joy to stay in. Both hosts were able to offer great local tips and stories about the area. We enjoyed our visit and would recommend this place to others

    Jamie2018-07-02T00:00:00Z
  • Sandra and Scot were exceptional people. They made us feel right at home. Scot cooked up some bacon and eggs and we all had breakfast together. I was eager for their opinion on Brexit and American politics. We shared our views and got along very well. These are intelligent, sensitive people with a beautiful home. We highly recommend them.

Single room available in leafy, residential Trinity, close to Botanic Gardens and 15 mins by bus to centre (2km). A 1960s building, with sunny living room and balcony. Exceptionally quiet. 5 mins from bus-stop to centre, and to local grocery shops & takeaway options. Adjacent to a cycle network that extends to all parts of the city, and beyond. I don’t live in the flat. I live about 5 mins away. The flat has two other bedrooms: one is occupied on a long-term basis, the other on Airbnb.
The room has been freshly decorated. It is small, but very comfortable. There is a unisex bike available to use, which is stored in a garage above 5 mins away. You can use the bike anytime you wish during your stay; it comes with a lock (but not a cycling helmet).
Our flat is situated in a residential area called Trinity in the north of the city. We have two public parks nearby and the city's Botanical Gardens. A small river that runs closeby stretches for 15 miles though the centre of Edinburgh with scenic paths all along its waterside. The River Forth is also a 10 minutes walk to the north. Leith, a rejuvenated dockside area with a good mix of independent shops, bars and restaurants, is 15 minutes walk to the east. Nearer to home there are some good local shops (grocer, fishmonger, newsagent, take away, cafés). There is an excellent bus service a few minutes from our house which takes you into the city in ten minutes. Edinburgh is a fairly compact city so most sights/things of interest are within easy reach (e. g. Princes Street, the New Town, the Old Town, galleries and the Castle) . Waverley Train Station is 15 minutes away by bus and the airport is 7 miles outside of town. It is also an incredibly beautiful city with a diverse range of attractions, including many cultural and historical sights, a wealth of galleries and museums and a good range of restaurants, bars and clubs. From Edinburgh we are well situated to travel by rail or bus to Glasgow (45 mins) , Loch Lomond and St Andrews (90 minutes) and the Highlands and Islands (2 – 4 hours) . The Edinburgh International Festival takes place in the last 3 weeks of August. Around the same time as the official festival, there is the much larger and diverse Fringe Festival, as well as three other major festivals: Television, Science and Book.

  • Daljit was a great host; incredibly responsive and helpful while providing a clean, well-maintained space. The flat is super quiet and in a great location, walkable to the water, botanic garden, and even city center (if you’re up for it). Highly recommended little spot.

  • This residence is by far a fantastic place to stay in Edinburgh. Mhairi (& Hector!) made me feel at home in their beautiful home. The location was excellent for me because it was a 20-min walk to Princes Street or by buses located literally across the street. The location and home were quiet, clean & lovely. Although I spent more time at work, I looked forward to returning to a comfortable home in the evening. Mhairi was very helpful and a fantastic hostess. I'm staying again soon and this will definitely be the first place I'll book when I'm back in Edinburgh. Highly, highly recommended!

    Paula2017-06-08T00:00:00Z
  • Go stay with Mhairi, you won't be disappointed. I concur with all the positive reviews she has received so far - truly a super host with an adorable dog in a lovely welcoming home.

    Nora2018-11-11T00:00:00Z
  • Being with Mhiari and her lovely dog Hector was very nice and relaxing. Everything was spotless clean and the room has enough space for all your belongings. Mhiari is a wonderful well-educated lady and it’s easy to get along with her. She gave me some great tips about what to see and where to go. I really enjoyed the chats with her and highly recommend staying at her beautiful home. Thanks for the nice time at your home.

    Christiane2018-07-31T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely welcome from Mhairi and her gorgeous pooch; I felt very much at home here. Very comfortable room, which was nice and quiet too. I would definitely stay here again when I'm next in Edinburgh.

  • I recently stayed with Mhairi for a few days in Edinburgh as I travelled there to do the charity Moonwalk. Mhairi is a lovely lady and was very welcoming on my arrival. Her house and the room I stayed in were lovely and the ensuite bathroom with bath was a big bonus. She made it very easy for me to find where she is in Edinburgh with detailed instructions on how to get to where she is (buses 23 and 27 stop right outside her door!) The welcome pack on arrival in the room was lovely and I very much enjoyed my stay with Mhairi and she made me feel very at home and very relaxed during my stay. I would definately recommend this accomodation to anyone planning to visit Edinburgh.Thank you very much Mhairi for your lovely hospitality.

    Diane2014-06-11T00:00:00Z
  • Staying with Mhairi in Edinburgh could not have been more fantastic! Due to some major travel delays I arrived a day later than expected. However, Mhairi was extremely accommodating having her partner Iain meet me for my new arrival time. Hector (her labradoodle) is absolutely adorable and super friendly! The location is superb located on 3 different bus lines that run frequently or just a 20 minute walk to heart of the city. I sincerely enjoyed our chats. Thank you so much for welcoming me to this magical city! Cheers, Julie

The flat is located in one of the highly desirable neighbourhoods. If you want to stay away from the street noise but still be within the city center, it is a sensible choice. • This was our 1st experience using Airbnb and our host Di made it a very pleasant one. The room and the apartment was lovely and clean, the bed comfortable and I love the high ceilings and decorative trims. Di was extremely helpful and made us feel at home and gave us lots of private space, plus full use of her modern kitchen. There are buses to Edinburgh center just outside the door, one can also walk there so the location is really good and the neighborhood seemed nice. We enjoyed our stay with Di very much.

Bright, comfortable and clean bedroom in my centrally located home in the heart of fashionable Stockbridge. Your bedroom is equipped with a luxurious kingsize bed, fresh cotton sheets, hanging and drawer space with a comfy lounge chair and small desk. The bedroom door is lockable. The shared bathroom has a good electric shower and there is a spacious kitchen diner to enjoy a leisurely breakfast and plan your day.
Stylish Stockbridge is a village community right in the heart of Edinburgh. Princes Street is only 15 mins walk away with bus transport around the town from right outside the front door.
  • Debbie is lovely and her apartment is in the lovely neighbourhood of Stockbridge. Debbie was very accommodating and helped make our stay quite joyful. I was travelling with my four year-old daughter who insisted on holding Debbie's hand as we left the property after a delightful week. The apartment is 14 minutes' walk from the city centre and the main door of the block is right beside the bus stop with frequent buses. Stockbridge has great neighbourhood shops including delis, fishmongers, butchers, groceries and a couple of local supermarkets. There are plenty of good cafes in the area, including the top notch Artisan Roast.

  • It’s a great location in the heart of Stockbridge, with easy access to the city and lots of near by amenities. Debbie is a generous and welcoming host and makes things easy. Highly recommended.

  • My husband and I had a lovely 5 night stay. You immediately feel at home at Debbie’s. She is helpful, considerate and feels like an old friend. The communication before and during our stay was excellent. Her home is clean, well equipped and in a great location. It is steps from the bus stop, grocery store, ATM and many restaurants. The bed is one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. If I have a chance to return to Edinburgh, I would not hesitate to book with her again.

    Tommie2018-08-20T00:00:00Z
  • Debbie really went above and beyond to make sure that us two American students felt right at home in a very new city! She could not have been more accommodating nor kind, and it was a pleasure staying with her.

    Liz2017-08-31T00:00:00Z
  • Great flat, perfect location in the heart of Stockbridge, excellent communication from start to finish. We only actually saw Debbie when we checked in, as she was away dogsitting, so we had the place to ourselves for the rest of the time. When we did meet her, she gave us great local tips and even offered to go and buy in any food that we wanted. Cheers Debbie!

Was only a 15/20 minute walk into edinburgh so perfect distance or only 10 minutes on the bus which goes from right outside of the apartment. Debbie was a wonderful host who was extremely accommodating and made us feel at home - we met her at the pub on our first night there and was great to chat and have a few drinks! Apartment was clean and spacious. Would highly recommended if you don’t want to be right in city centre!!

Quite 2-bed city centre apartment, 5 minutes' walk from the city centre. Voted best place to live in Scotland. The property features 2 very quiet double bedrooms, both overlooking gardens. Perfect for watching the fireworks in August & Hogmanay.
Two very quiet double bedrooms overlooking gardens – and some of the Grange cricket club where you could spot the Scottish cricket team play. Both double beds have full linen and covers provided. The double sofa bed in the living room is also complete with linen and pillows. Please note, there is a small extra charge for using the sofa bed for bookings of 4 or less guests. (This is £10 and is to cover the extra laundry and cleaning.) If you are booking for 5 or 6 guests, this fee is already included in the price. Just let us know in advance if you’d like to use this and we’ll tell you where the extra bed set is hiding.
Just out the front door, you walk straight into the heart of Stockbridge, with a plethora or pubs, cafes and some of the best restaurants in Edinburgh - all within 50-100 metres. Through the kitchen window you’ll get a stunning view of the top of the castle. In August, for the Fringe festival, Edinburgh Military Tattoo put on a fantastic fireworks display which you can watch from the kitchen or living room. The world famous Princes Street is only a 10 minute walk away, only a stone’s throw away from Edinburgh Castle and the Unesco Heritage Edinburgh Old Town. In case the hustle and bustle of the city centre gets a bit too much, there is plenty to explore more locally too. The Stockbridge market on Saunders Street runs every Sunday: with plenty of sweet and savoury treats, artisan coffee (or gin if that’s more for you!) – or even some last minute Scottish tweed/ cashmere or wool finds, just on the very odd chance the Edinburgh weather not be on its best behaviour. Vendors vary from week to week, but there is always something for everyone. Walking the other way from the flat (left out the door and then first left again) you’ll find Edinburgh’s second largest city centre park (Inverleith Park), where you can enjoy the sunset overlooking the castle, work out on the open air fitness trail or even hear bagpipe bands practicing Monday nights.

The flat is lovely, all rooms are spacious, the kitchen is well equipped and everything was very clean and organized as new! The starter pack was a nice touch and we consumed it for breakfast in the first 2 days. We stayed there in 5 friends and the flat was very comfortable for all of us. Just mind that the flat is on the 3rd floor with no lift, in case you have a problem with stairs, but for us, it wasn't a problem at all. The location is also great, very useful shops around (Sainsbury, Domino's, Subway, charity shops..) and a bus stop right next to the doorstep. Sometimes we caught the bus to the main city avenues (Prince's Street and the Royal Mile), but some other times we just walked and it was fairly close as well. We loved the stay in Bobby's flat and would definitely stay there again!

  • Fantastic location and very precise instructions from Bobby.

    Raman2018-07-16T00:00:00Z
  • Bobby's place really is a home from home. 2 friends and myself stayed and instantly fell in love with the flat and Edinburgh. The flat was clean, warm and a lot more spacious than the photos make out. The breakfast goodies were a nice touch and not something we were expecting (toast was very much needed after a night out). I couldn't recommend staying at Bobby's enough. Thank you Bobby

  • Fantastic area, very quiet despite the central location. Communication with Bobby was quick and easy.

  • The flat of bobby is very beautiful and comfortable. Everything was very proper! The flat is in a very nice area in edinburgh. By walk you have around 10 minutes to the city. You can also take a cab. It's very cheap.. Bobby is very friendly and helpful, if you have any problems in the flat or questions about the city! My friends and I had a perfect stay!!

Sunny double room with a platform bed, plenty of storage space and a desk.

  • Israel and his family were absolutely lovely to me. They are nice, interesting, and welcoming people. They really helped me out letting me stay for an extended period. The room is bright and clean, it was very pleasant to stay in. I'm very grateful to them for their hospitality.

  • Hosts made me feel very welcome and comfortable in their family home, helping me with transport queries and fully supporting my stay. I spent a very happy and comfortable 3.5 weeks in the home which was clean, tidy, bright and pleasant. Frequent buses to the city centre from the bus stop across the road, shops & supermarket within walking distance and a fantastic cycle path for exercise and enjoying nature. Lovely location within reach of Leith and the estuary and a lovely quiet location to come home to at the end of a busy day in the city centre. Near the beautiful Botanic Gardens. Isra & his family made me very welcome and could not have been better hosts, I had the privacy of my own room and access to the shared areas of the property, comfy bed wifi and lovely sun through the window in the mornings. A really lovely stay.

  • Israel and Anita were wonderful hosts. The room matches the description and I had a great time!

  • Everything was great! Sunny room and good location!

    Paweł2015-04-08T00:00:00Z
  • Nice room, really well situated, at 30ish minute walking from Princes Street. Bus stop just at the doorstep, with few buses going direct to the city centre. Israel and Anita are helpful and nice, I really enjoyed staying at their place and chatting with them. The room is sunny and tidy, there is plenty of space for your stuff and the house was clean. I really don't have any complaint, I would definitively recommend it!

    Cristina2017-04-07T00:00:00Z
  • A nice quiet place/location to stay. Friendly family, room as advertised. Easy parking. 10mins walk from botanic gardens, 40 from princes street. Convenient buses.

    Hazel2018-08-13T00:00:00Z
  • Loved the calm and friendly family atmosphere. Israel always went out of his way to give advice about travelling around Edinburgh, as the bus system can be confusing. The flat was extremely clean and the room itself provided everything one needed, with a very ingenious storage system built into the underside of the 'bunk' bed. You do need to be relaxed about climbing a ladder to get to your bed, though - not for the arthritic.

    Eileen2017-09-14T00:00:00Z
  • The location is nice considering the near by bus stops. The bed was comfortable and had a nice stay.

  • Lovely apartment, very modern furnishings and spotlessly clean. A bit of a walk into the city centre but great location for Stockbridge (a very cool bit of Edinburgh) and the botanic gardens. Lauren was great at responding to queries and left a list of recommendations that came in really handy.

    Rosie2018-07-20T00:00:00Z
  • Great location, clean, easy access. Lauren's check-in instructions were clear, and the apartment is ground floor, with thankfully no massive stair-climbs with luggage as you find in so many UK places. Conveniently located close to downtown and train, about a 5-10 min Uber or 25-min walk. Highly recommend.

  • This apartment is very basic, don’t expect much. Look for other places if you can. A newer apartment where things work well & clean especially the laundry facilities so you don’t spend time doing your laundry at the laundromat. And also nice & big tv to wind down after coming back to the apartment.

  • We'd highly recommend John and Chris' flat. It's in a nice part of Edinburgh - close to the Botanic Gardens and handy for the network of footpaths round the Water of Leith. The flat is bright, with big windows, very comfortable and spotlessly clean. The bedroom overlooks the gardens at the back of the block of flats which means it's quiet and gives a nice outlook. John and Chris were very welcoming and all their communication was quick and helpful. Hope we get the chance to stay there again.

  • Wonderful apartment-- everything is new. Pull out couch is comfortable and can definitely accommodate 2 people. Located VERY centrally but on a quiet side street with windows facing away from the street, so ideal for anyone sensitive to noise. The area (Stockbridge) is very walkable and has lots of shops/restaurants. We didn't have any trouble finding street parking (free on the weekends). Check in/out was easy with a lockbox. I didn't meet Holly or Eddie (management company), but they were very responsive via text and email. I would definitely recommend this place for up to 4 people. Can't wait to come back to Edinburgh!

  • Great location! Short walk to the shops, restaurant and in to the city centre. Dawn was so easy to get in touch with and the goodie basket at check-in was very much appreciated. Would definitely recommend!

    Alexandra2017-02-27T00:00:00Z
  • As all the other reviews will note, Dawn is an excellent host, and her place is absolutely gorgeous. I found myself wanting to stay there just a bit longer in the morning. The location is close to public transport and easy to access by cab (which is what I mostly did), but with Edinburgh's hills, it is a bit of a trek if you plan to walk. Dawn's place might be worth the long walk or taxi fare though because it is so nice and because Dawn goes to extra lengths. Not to mention that comfortable bed!

    Cameron2017-10-17T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely apartment, clean, really well equipped. Good location, about 20min walk into the centre but loads of great restaurants within 5-10mins of the apartment. Had a great stay!

    Abby2018-11-14T00:00:00Z
  • We had a really lovely stay at Dawn's, everything we needed was provided and more. The location was in good walking distance of the town.

    Georgia2017-03-07T00:00:00Z
  • We really enjoyed staying at Dawns. We walked in and out of the city no problem in about 20 mins. It was also easy for us to walk to Leith to meet friends. The flat was clean and a lovely space to chill out in after a busy day. It was easy to find and to get to from the airport (we walked from the tram). We had breakfast locally and there was lots of choice (we loved the smokehouse). Dawn was very quick to reply to questions and coming and going from the flat was very easy. Flat was on the second floor which was fine but not sure there was a lift if you did struggle with stairs. Over all a wonderful stay.

    Orla2017-12-17T00:00:00Z
  • I highly recommend the place with one caveat. The walk to the city center is long, with some steep streets to climb. Besides that, it is warm, clean, well-appointed, the wifi is super fast and Dawn is very helpful.

    Richard2018-04-09T00:00:00Z
  • Excellent little flat in Edinburgh, couple of miles from Waverley but easily accessible on foot! Supermarket and nice bars and restaurants close by! Dawn was an excellent host, very communicative! Flat clean and tidy, and very well equipped kitchen!! Will be back next time I am in Edinburgh!!

    Keith2016-11-13T00:00:00Z
  • Dawn and her lovely abode are the reason I stay with Airbnb. Professional and polite with caring touches added throughout the flat. we walked to the city center every day, taking around 20 mins. local amenities include a Tesco, fast food outlet offering free from foods and a bakery that makes gluten an dairy free cakes. Apartment felt secure, checking in and out was simple and the apartment was spotless. soaps on the towels, magazines of forthcoming events in the city and a breakfast basket were welcomed touches. Enjoyed our stay an would recommend.

Beautiful 2 bedroom apartment in a central location within walking distance of shops and main attractions. A bright and trendy first floor floor apartment on a leafy residential street. The living area is spacious and furnished to a very high standard. Double and single bedrooms with luxurious mattresses and bed linen. Fully fitted kitchen and shower room. Unique large roof terrace. This apartment is the perfect base for a holiday or business trip to the wonderful city of Edinburgh.
This beautiful apartment forms part of the Edinburgh Stockbridge Colonies
The apartment is situated in a neighbourhood called the Stockbridge colonies, which were built during the second half of the nineteenth century. The colonies are friendly and beautiful and Stockbridge itself is vibrant and trendy, and within a short walk of Princes Street and the main attractions. My apartment was originally the grocery shop for the colonies and was converted into a residential property in the 1980s. It has a beautiful situation and is in the perfect location to explore Edinburgh.
  • Simon is a great host, full of useful hits and tips for your stay. The apartment is in a great location and offers everything you will need for your time in Edinburgh!

  • Amazing apartment, met all expectations. Great location just 20 minutes from downtown, supermarket and restaurants within 5 minutes walking distance, clean place with all cooking utensils. Simon always quick in the answers to what we need, left a pro dry to receive us! We will definitely return.

  • I loved my stay at this historic apartment. Simon did an excellent job with written tips and advice, and the location was a great starting point for Stockbridge, New Town, and Old Town. Be sure to check out the Stockbridge Market on Sunday mornings! Thanks, Simon!

  • I would 110% reccomend this home. it is small, but perfect! It has a private roof top terrace, what appears to be the only on the block! Quiet, clean, safe neighborhood. Located about 20-25 minutes walk away from everything: gardens, royal mile, castle, holyrood/park, waverly station, obscura, shopping, etc. You can take public transport, but it is about the same time as walking. Lots of hills in Edinburgh, and around the home, so keep that in mind if they might effect you. Approximately 45 minutes from airport, via Airlink bus. (straight shot). Street parking looked to be permit only. It is perfect for a family of three. (anymore, would be tight, in my opinion) It was my husband and our 14 year old. Easy check-in. Warm comforters on the beds. Comfy pillows. Mattress was a little harder than I prefer, but you can't win them all ;) It has a real 'boutique' hotel feel about it. This is, easily, one of my favorite stays with AirBnB. Thank you, Simon!

  • We enjoyed our stay in simons apartment a lot! Its a cute and tidy place in a lively neighborhood. Its an easy walk to the city center. The colonies are set back off the stylish village of Stockbridge with it’s “go to” cafes, bars and restaurants for the locals of Edinburgh. With the water of leith running passed your door and the botanical gardens a stones throw away, this hidden gem is a must to stay in. It’s bright space with stylish decor and quirky setting you will be talking about your visit here for years. Cosy and comfortable and perfect for a quick city break or a romantic getaway.
The whole space is just for you. Feel free to make yourself welcome and enjoy all the comforts home from home. With its little garden out front, it’s perfect for a chilled glass of wine in the evening sunshine.
There are many lovely areas in Edinburgh, but Stockbridge has to be one of our favourites with its charming village-like atmosphere, abundance of cafes and restaurants and its friendly locals. You’ve also got beautiful green areas such as Inverleith Park, the Botanic Garden and Water of Leith on your doorstep. Stockbridge actually used to be a small village outside the city that was incorporated into the City of Edinburgh in the 19th century. It’s such a great, vibrant place that you can easily spend a whole weekend exploring (and eating your way through) Stockbridge! Once you’ve made yourself at home it’s time to go out and get to know the area. Head to the bridge that Stockbridge gets its name from on Deanhaugh Street – the name comes from Scots ‘stock brig’ meaning ‘timber bridge’. The current ‘Stock bridge’ is made out of stone, however, and spans Water of Leith. Walk along Dean Terrace or Saunders Street to get to the path that takes you through Dean Gardens to the stunning Dean Village – once a busy industrial village with eleven mills powered by the river. Walk around and snap away with your camera or phone and make sure you also cross the river and visit Well Court, the most striking building in the village. As you’ll be in the area we highly recommend you walk to the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art. If you’re hungry head to the lovely cafe for a bite to eat before you immerse yourself in modern art. Walk back to Stockbridge the way you came and go back to the flat to put up your feet for a while before dinner. Our Stockbridge homes are all in great locations so you have the luxury of just popping home if you wish! You also have the option of cooking dinner in the apartment or heading out to one of the many restaurants. If you decide you want to go out for a meal why not try the hip Smith & Gertrude for a beautiful glass of wine and a cheese/charcuterie board to go with it. Depending on how much cheese you eat (trust us, you can easily overdose here!) you might need something else to fill your belly with. If so, there are many options around, such as Hamilton’s Bar & Kitchen next door, Nok’s Kitchen for some delicious Thai food or perhaps opt for a fine dining experience at Purslane. Staying in a self catering apartment also gives you the option of having breakfast in the house – which we think you should take advantage of! So pop into Sainsbury’s, Waitrose or Scotmid and get some eggs, fresh bread, orange juice and fruit and enjoy a nice, relaxed breakfast before heading out. Start Saturday with a lovely cup of coffee at one of Stockbridge’s many coffee shops. Peter’s Yard and Artisan Roast always deliver, and if you want to pick up your own, locally roasted coffee beans make sure you visit Mr Eion (coffee makes a great souvenir as well!). With a takeaway coffee in one hand, leisurely stroll to the stunning Botanics to enjoy Edinburgh’s most beautiful public garden. We recommend you visit the enticing Glasshouses with plants from the tropics, desert and everything in between. The highlight of a Stockbridge weekend must be the weekly Sunday market in Jubilee Gardens that seems to be where both the tourists and the locals mingle, often accompanied by live music. Try the mouth-watering dumplings by Harajuku Kitchen and scoff down a bag of heavenly marshmallows by the Marshmallow Lady for dessert.

PLEASE NOTE IT IS1/8 TRINITY COURT!!!!! Double room with comfy bed in 2-bedroom quite apartment near city centre. Wifi is of course included :)
  • Lucas was a great host, with very flexible check in time and easy communication. The apartment was lovely, very clean and a spacious kitchen with everything you need (cereal, bread, milk etc). All in all a nice stay!

  • Lucas’ place was lovely! Really clean and well styled, we really enjoyed our stay. The breakfast was just cornflakes, but milk and everything was there too, and full facilities for storing/ cooking food. The room was really comfortable and Lucas was great making sure the apartment was warm enough etc. Just a bit out of town but exactly as advertised, and a bus is easy to get in or a cheap uber works well. Fully recommend staying here :)

  • Stayed in Alan’s stunning apartment in Stockbridge & was really blown away by how lovely it was. We felt it was even nicer than the photos. There is a real luxury feel to the place but it’s also got a lot of home comforts such as spices & things to cook with. You feel like you are staying in someone’s home & a luxury hotel at the same time. Stockbridge is amazing & we received loads of local tips from Jenna- which is handy when you are staying just a short time & want to make the most of it. Will definitely be back!!

We were a 20ish minute walk from major sights and enjoyed being able to return to the peace, quiet, and charm of Stockbridge. There are tons of shops and restaurants in the area, and Simon’s recommendations were spot on. If you are looking to stay somewhere away from the crowds, Simon’s place is the way to go.

  • Simon's apartment is the perfect space for a stay in Edinburgh. It has all the amenities you could need and is clean and comfortable. It's location is great in the beautiful area of Stockbridge.

  • Simon's place is a quintessential holiday home in a great part of town close to many little pubs, restaurants, and vintage shops. It has all the necessities and was very clean upon arrival. Everything in the flat was in working order and made for a great first place to stay in Edinburgh. We would definitely be back and wish we could have booked it for longer!

My 1 bedroom apartment is in a great location - in the village-like haven of Stockbridge. It is beside The Water of Leith and surrounded by trendy bars, coffee shops and boutiques. The apartment has a modern, neutral interior with high ceilings and unique touches. It is very spacious and airy with lots of natural light. Perfect for couples who want to explore Edinburgh, as it is only 20 minutes to Princes Street, but don't want the hustle and bustle of the city centre.
You'll feel very at home in my 1 bedroom, Stockbridge apartment. There is a large window with nice views of the local church. • A fantastic and very comfortable apartment in a great area. All the fixtures and fittings are high quality. We found lots of interesting bars, shops and restaurants within easy reach, and it’s a great buzzing neighbourhood. Highly recommended.

  • Very nice apartment in a nice area. I can highly recommend it.

    Lillian2018-10-14T00:00:00Z
  • The place was wonderful! First, it is much bigger than it looks on the photos, really bright and warm. The bed was super comfortable and everything was fresh clean. It is also very quiet. You get some nice views from the living room and the place also has a fully equipped kitchen so you can have your breakfasts and dinners in the comfort of home. Then the location is just perfect. Within a 5 minute walk you will find 2 supermarkets, several nice restaurants and cafés, a bakery, a sushi place, a special cheese shop, bookshops and parks, and the Leith walkway is just across the street so you can enjoy a morning walk by the river. You can reach town center by foot, the botanic garden and Dean Village are just 10-15 mins away too and if you have the time, visit the gardens in the morning - you will love the light. Another wonderful thing is the public transport, bus 36 stops right in front of the apt and it will take you right to the Ocean terminal and back. Bus Airlink 100 to the airport is about 15 mins away walking. Bring comfortable shoes and enjoy the best city. Matthew's place makes it easy for you.

  • Very nice and spacey apartment in a really cool neighborhood called Stockbridge. Lots of little restaurants, coffee bars, breakfast and supermarket. Location couldn't the better. Communication went very smooth. The apartment is very nice with bathroom, separate toilet, big kitchen with washing machine. Can only recommend.

Traditional Victorian airy flat with 1 bedroom and 1 boxroom on Inverleith Row. We are just a few blocks from the Botanic Gardens/leafy Inverleith Park and a short bus-ride from the city centre - with a bus-stop right outside the door!
A deceptively spacious second floor flat in a traditional Victorian tenement. Our flat is suitable for 2 to 3 people. The second bedroom is what we call a 'boxroom' - which means that it doesn't have any external windows but has windows into both the hallway and the kitchen. The kitchen has been recently refurbished and is fully equipped.
Inverleith/Goldenacre is only a stone's throw from the city centre but at the same time a world away from it. Wide streets, parks (Inverleith Park & the Botanic Gardens), easy access to cycle paths and down to the shore make this a great hub for doing some exploring on foot. There are convenience stores, banks, fishmongers, a florist, cafes and takeaways within a block or two as well as quirky independent stores selling retro furniture and pre-loved clothes/hand-bags.
  • This is a beautiful apartment and Aileen was a wonderful host. The apartment itself is spacious and comfortable, incredibly clean, and it has every amenity you need, particularly in the recently refurbished kitchen. It's a wonderful example of the period architecture and is lovingly decorated throughout with a blend of contemporary and period furniture and furnishings. It's also in a lovely part-residential area, while also being a ten-minute bus ride to the centre of the city, so a perfect location. Aileen was a wonderful host. Excellent communication from start to finish and really detailed directions and guidance. We stayed here for the Edinburgh Marathon Festival and Aileen even provided directions to get us right to the start line! The apartment was filled with thoughtful and considerate touches; maps and guides, tea and coffee, fresh milk in the fridge, local treats, and a lovely dram of whiskey. I could go on all day about how much we enjoyed this apartment - we'll definitely be back!

    Ken2018-05-28T00:00:00Z
  • Aileen's flat is fantastic. The location is perfect - close to the Botanics, a short walk to George St (20 minutes) or the bus stops outside the flat. The beds are super comfortable and the views amazing.

    Olivia2016-05-10T00:00:00Z
  • We had a great stay at Aileen's! Very easy to get around. The bus to the city center stops outside the door! Pub, grocery and restaurant's in the neighbourhood! Great value! Tom

  • This is a great apartment in Edinburgh, just a 15' bus ride from the city center. I could recommend this place to everybody: it is clean, very beautifully styled and furnished, but mostly, full of thoughtful details. We found all the basic ingredients to cook with, like seasonings, oil, coffee, tea. Even a selection of whisky!! There were towels in the bedrooms, the bedding was nice and warm and very clean. Our host Aileen was one exemplary wonderful person, giving us tips for things to visit, reacting super fast, giving us super practical directions from the airport to the address. In all, I would recommend anyone to stay here!!

    Rosa2018-11-05T00:00:00Z
  • Lovely comfortable flat in great location for getting the best out of a stay in Edinburgh. Fantastic host - very responsive and thoughtful.

  • Superb flat in a quiet neighborhood. Great location. 10 min to the city center by bus and bus stop literally steps away. Aileen is the best host, gave us very detailed information and a lot of very useful advice. Would definitely recommend it if you want to have a great time in Edinburgh.

    博文2019-01-02T00:00:00Z
  • We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in Aileen's flat and would look to stay again. We enjoyed Christmas morning in the comfort of the flat, surrounded by lots of lovely things that make the flat welcoming, cosy and comfortable. It is clear that Aileen is a thoughtful host as she provided all the essentials, plus much more which made it even more enjoyable. We felt completely relaxed in the flat and this was aided by Aileen's warm welcome and helpful communication (both before the visit and the information provided at the flat, both verbal and written). We enjoyed walking into the city centre (a good half hour) but the bus stop is very conveniently positioned on the doorstep. Similarly there are local amenities nearby including convenience stores, take outs, pubs and restaurants. We would definitely recommend staying at Aileen's whilst visiting the city if you want a clean, spacious, cosy home to go back to. Thank you so much, Hannah and Paul.

    Hannah2015-12-27T00:00:00Z
  • Aileen was such a warm and welcoming host and her home was the same. It felt like home as soon as we walked through the door. The stay was amazing, there was a bus stop right outside the front door which made it very easy to get right into the city and to explore Edinburgh. Aileen also has very detailed folders full of information on what to do in the area and in Edinburgh, as well as great food places nearby, and even hairdressers! Aileen has thought of everything when it comes to making her guests feel comfortable and to make sure they have a good stay and I couldn't recommend her highly enough.

Lovely double room in cottage style house with hidden garden in the Inverleith area of Edinburgh. Close to the Botanic Gardens and 10 minutes by bus to the city centre. My place is good for couples, solo adventurers, and business travellers.
  • Claire made us feel very welcome and we very much enjoyed staying with her.

    Emma2016-10-10T00:00:00Z
  • Claire's bungalow is a wonderful space. And she is a brilliant host. Very accommodating and caring. I was very cold and she provided me with a hot water bottle, a bathrobe and an extra blanket. The space was calm and chilled - with the beautiful little bexy (the cat) wandering about. The location was perfect for me - not too far a walk into town and my place of work for the summer. Everything was in working order and I loved having our little chats before and sometimes after work, in the open kitchen. It felt like home. I would absolutely recommend staying with Claire and when I'm back up on Edinburgh I will definitely check availability there first. Everything was as I wanted it. X

  • I really enjoyed my stay at Claire's. Lovely accommodation, really clean and comfortable. Claire is a great host and makes you feel very welcome. Really close to botanical gardens and a short bus ride ( or a nice walk if you don't mind walking ) to town.

  • Very good! Claire welcomed us to her beautiful house with a lots of tips for the festival. We had a great stay. I little bit cold for the summer we are used too. It is a bit far from the center but the bus its just around the corner so you would have to buy a day ticket for 4 pounds a day and one extra for the night.

  • We had a fantastic stay in Claire's lovely home. The house is in a quiet location and on the main bus route to the city centre which was perfect for exploring the city.

The house was clean, cosy and we had a great stay. We never had a chance to meet with David but David is a great host helping us with every little things. We will definitely stay at David’s home next time we are in Edinburgh and would highly recommend to the future travellers.

Welcome to my 1980s flat with its stunning views of the Edinburgh skyline - The Pentlands, the Castle, Arthur's Seat & beyond. There is free parking. It's ideal for the city centre, Botanic Gardens, Leith. Buses are very close & the walkway behind the flat will give you miles of walks, & in 15 mins you'll be at the sea. There are local shops and bars within 5 minutes walk. You hear a bit of traffic but also lots of birds. Mostly, it's peaceful so enjoy the city and then come home to relax.
The flat is on the 2nd floor, which is the top floor, and there isn't a lift. There are 3 flights of stairs to climb with 2 small landings in between. There are 6 flats in the block. I'm on good terms with all my neighbours and I'd like it to stay that way so your thoughtfulness will be appreciated. For 2019 there will only be one bedroom available in the flat as the second one is going to be used to store some extra personal belongings. The available bedroom contains a king-sized bed with a double wardrobe with hangers, 2 chests of drawers, a bedside cabinet and a shelved unit on which the smart tv sits, at the foot of the bed. Suitcases can be stored under the bed. If you stay between March and October, you'll not want to close the curtains in the sitting room because the views are great. If you look out of the bedroom windows, you'll see that the sky barely darkens. When there are fireworks from the Castle or Calton Hill, regardless of the time of year, you'll have excellent views of them. There are supermarkets reasonably close by and you can reach all of them by bus in about 10 minutes. If you're happy to walk, you can get to Morrisons on Ferry Road in about 15 - 20 mins, Tesco at Canonmills can be reached by the walkway and that takes about 20 - 25 minutes. Lidl and the Granton Morrisons are reached by bus or car. Sainsburys and Waitrose need a car. There's a new Aldi in Portobello which can be reached by the 21 bus. That will also take you to the Leith Lidl at the foot of Leith Walk.
The flat is based in Trinity which is a desirable, residential area on the north side of the city, much closer to the sea than most people realise. It's on a small estate built in the 1980s, which is maintained by the residents. There's a small Turkish cafe at Goldenacre, which does the best coffee locally. Herringbone (they have a website) is about 4 minutes from the flat though you'll probably need to reserve a table if you want an evening meal. Very tasty and reasonable prices. Opposite them is a newly renovated pub called The Inverleith. I've only been in once but it's perfectly pleasant and very dog-friendly. Handbag Exchange is a rather lovely little shop at Goldenacre with pre-loved shoes, bags and clothes, many of which are designer labels. There are 3 mini-marts in the area too. There’s also a nice fishmongers at Goldenacre. If you can support the local shops, please do so. There are 4 take-aways: 2 Chinese, 1 Indian and 1 pizza place. Supermarkets are easily available. Morrisons is along Ferry Road, Tesco is down at Canonmills, Lidl is down at Granton (there’s an Iceland and B&M in the same complex), where there is another, larger Morrisons. Waitrose is over at Comely Bank and Sainsburys is at the Craighall Shopping Complex. They can all be reached within 15 minutes by car. If you’re on the bus, then choose Morrisons at Ferry Road, Tesco, Lidl or Morrisons at Granton. Morrisons on Ferry Road and Tesco can both be walked to within 15 - 20 minutes. You can get to Tesco via the walkway which is more direct than the main road and more peaceful. Venture down to Canonmills and you'll find even more cafes and bars. The Orchard is a favourite. Di Giorgio's does very nice coffee. The walkway (former railway line) runs behind the flat and it's perfect for getting some countryside in the city. If you like cemeteries, Warriston Cemetery is well worth a wander and it's easy to get to. The Botanical Gardens are a very short walk away and definitely worth a visit for anyone of any age. There are regular exhibitions throughout the gardens. You could also catch the number 8 bus and head up to Broughton Street, where there are lots of alternative shops, bars and restaurants. Here’s a link to the local tourist board so you can see what’s happening in the city whenever you may be thinking of visiting us: https://www.visitscotland.com/destinations-maps/edinburgh/

  • Ailsa is the sweetest person. Her apartment was amazing accompanied by a wonderful view. The bus number 23 takes you to the center & is a 2 min walk from the place. It was clean and had everything we needed, kitchen, smart t.v, comfortable beds, washer. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it. It may seem far from the center but it's really not. It is truly a lovely stay!

  • Honestly it felt like home. I really wished I could stay longer. Ailsa was so great especially when I was sick. She was so helpful with recommending a great health center. The location is amazing, just a quick bus ride to downtown Edinburgh yet close to shops and restaurants. Would definitely recommend and always visit next time I'm in Edinburgh.

  • Ailsa’s place was terrific in every way - great accommodations, great location, great price, and above all, a great host. The place is in walking distance along a great greenway to the Firth (Bay) of Forth to the north and bus #23 100 ft down the street will get you to downtown Edinburgh in 10 minutes. It passes right by the Royal Botanical Gardens and once downtown you’re a short walk to the castle and the Royal Mile. If I had a bicycle with I could have been downtown almost as fast. Thanks again Ailsa and thank you Edinburgh for such a great time!

Surrounded by fab local amenities which include two large Scotmids, a huge Waitrose as well as many delicatessens, coffee shops, bars and second hand shops. Great bus routes at the bottom of the street but a walk to the theatres and galleries will only take 10 – 20 mins. Shower and bathroom is shared and will make space for you in the fridge if you are staying for more than a few nights. Inverleith Park is across from the flat if you want to go for a run as well as Glenogles for a swim / gym.
Bright, airy, colourful and friendly - we have been very lucky to have some really amazing folk stay with us and that's how they describe our flat. Although our flat is small your room is large, warm and light and quite soundproof so if we are up watching films you would never hear a sound, that's due to the old stone Victorian building we are in. In your room we offer a few little extras like a selection of teas and coffee, water jug, towels, hairdryer, straighteners, quality shampoo and conditioner (Tresemme), iron and ironing board. There are loads of books on the shelves should you wish to borrow and a range of breakfast items for you to start your day off with before you go off exploring. Residents are myself, my son and a tiny little cat called Sapphire.
Stockbridge is known for being a village in the centre of Edinburgh and once you are here you will see what I mean. This area is considered as central Edinburgh by us who live here as it is just situated on the edge of the Georgian New Town plus everything you need to get to such as tourist attractions, theatres, Royal Mile etc are all within 20 minutes. From the Sunday Farmer's Market to a walk along the Water of Leith to the Modern Art Gallery to checking out award winning restaurants, there is so much to see locally. We are surrounded by great shops and local artisans and some great coffee places for an additional energy boost! As you will be walking distance to everything do bring good, comfy shoes and a lightweight rainproof jacket/coat. Taxis will be on our doorstep within minutes and bus stops are at the bottom of the street. We have been here for 15 years and absolutely love it, we hope you do too.
  • Really enjoyed my time in Sonia's home. She is a warm and friendly host and its easy to be in her house. I loved the area, good restaurants and the best coffee I have ever had (Artisan Roasters). Stockbridge is a great area and its all a 15 minutes walk to the centre of town. Highly recommended. Am looking forward to going back to Edinburgh already!

  • I had a fantastic time at Sonia's. THe flat is located in the heart of trendy Stokebridge, with lots of cafés, restaurants, boutiques and even a Sunday food market. The flat has everything you need for a comfortable stay. Sonia is a very friendly and warm person, very knowledgeable on Edinburgh. I wish we had more time to chat!

    Mathilde2017-06-18T00:00:00Z
  • Great value for a nice place in a good part of Edinburgh - there are lots of cafes, restaurants and shops in Stockbridge and regular buses into the centre of town, or you can walk there in about 20 minutes. Sonia was very easy to communicate with and friendly when I arrived - I was in and out so didn't see her much but breakfast was provided, and there was a great selection of tea available. Also the flat is full of books which is always good. The bedroom was big enough and very comfortable, and the bathroom/shower was fine. I would definitely recommend the place for a younger single traveller or couple - keep in mind that like many places in Edinburgh you'll have to climb old stone steps but that's part of the charm.

    Neil2017-06-11T00:00:00Z

Sonia was happy to help with local directions and recommendations of a nice local restaurant to eat. The room was light and warm. I had a really lovely stay at Sonia’s place and will be back when I’m next in Edinburgh :)

2 bedrooms - sleeps 4. Free high speed WiFi. Stockbridge is a fashionable and affluent area of the city centre. 15 quality restaurants, 10 pubs and many cafes all within a 5 minute walk. Very central however the apartment is in a VERY quiet street (not even traffic passes by). Although compact the apartment has bags of charm and a lovely comfortable living area. Private secure parking is FREE. Comparable on street parking costs approx £25 per day, (if you can find a space!).
The apartment can sleep 4 and has 2 bedrooms. One bedroom is a double and the other a twin room. The twin room can be made up as a double if requested. It is a compact apartment on the garden level (down 15 steps). The location is very central to the city centre, yet exceptionally quiet, as not even traffic passes the building. The apartment has a cosy open living, dining and kitchen area.
Stockbridge is deemed the 3rd coolest place to live in the UK by the Sunday Times!!. The same publication also deemed it the best place to live in the whole of Scotland!!. It is in the heart of Edinburgh but feels like a friendly village. There are around 15 restaurants, 9 pubs and many cafes and boutiques within a 5 minutes walk. As it is an affluent area the pubs and restaurants are of a good standard. Tom Kitchins gastro pub 'The Scran And Scallie' is one of those in the locale.
  • Wonderful location in Edinburgh. The neighborhood is great with lots of restaurants and pubs within a 5 minute walk. It's close to the Royal Botanical Garden (beautiful and free), New Town (World Heritage Site), and the Leith River Walk. The flat itself was well equipped, comfortable, and very clean. The indoor parking is only a 5 minute walk and is secure. Gary was great and we would recommend this place to friends.

  • We thoroughly enjoyed our first visit to Edinburgh, the flat was perfect with everything we needed and excellently situated for the city centre. We particularly enjoyed exploring the local restaurants and cafes and of course the cheese shop and farmers market, this has to be the best area to stay in the city. Many thanks to Gary and Christina for their kindness and generosity we would definitely recommend them as hosts, looking forward to returning soon. Karen Martin and Robert.

  • An absolutely gorgeous apartment in a fabulous location in Edinburgh. The apartment was well equipped and spotlessly clean. The area is up and coming with lots of gorgeous restaurants and bars. We would highly recommend staying here and it's top of our list if we go back.

  • Gary's apartment is a lovely place, clean and charming. The Stockbridge area is a perfect place to discover Edinburgh way of life, and to reach all main places to see in town.

  • We stayed a week in Gary's appartment, which is really fantastic! It was very cosy and clean and well equipped. The neighbourhood of Stockbridge in Edinburgh is a lovely area and only a 15 minute walk (uphill!) to the city centre. Gary's dad welcomed us at time, gave us all the information we needed and the address of a good pub nearby and some tips of things we should see. A little supermarket is only a 2 minutes walk away. We highly recommend this place to others and hope to come back one day.

  • Gary's place was lovely! He gave us easy instructions on how to retrieve the keys and things were fine from there. The flat was cozy and well-decorated. We enjoyed our stay here!
