Head out on Angles Way and follow the Waveney river valley for an idyllic countryside stroll or take a trip to the beautiful Suffolk coast, then light the fire and curl up under the beams. Featured in a host of magazines, this bucolic abode combines period features and chic, contemporary design. Ivywood cottage is medieval in age, but contemporary in design, with luxurious finishes and fine detailing. The house is in a unique rural setting and was once part of the Gawdy Hall Estate. The house sits next to a beautiful 15th century church, set within a 3 acre church yard. Glorious and plentiful Waveney Valley walks in all directions. Guests have complete privacy and run of the house, including a private garden. We respect our guest's privacy, and are on call for any advice or assistance that you may need during your visit. The cottage is a short picturesque drive from the coastal gems of Southwold and Aldeburgh. Harleston and Bungay are quintessential English towns with charming independent stores, delis, family butchers, bistro cafes, pubs, restaurants, and tea shops. It's the countryside, most people drive. Diss is the mainline station between London and Norwich and is just 15 minutes by car. Cycling is very popular and the cottage is on a regular time trial route. Buses are very reliable and the village is well serviced making it easy to hop between Suffolk and Norfolk villages. There is fabulous walking from the cottage. Located in the Waveney Valley paths such as Angles Way which follows the Waveney river valley are right on your doorstep.

16c listed and part thatched cottage oozing character and history. Modern furnishings compliment timber frame, original beams (low doorways in places)and inglenook fireplace with wood burner. In the heart of a friendly, medieval village with gastro pub. Also a coffee shop a few doors away serving delicious meals and snacks. There's a general store closeby. We have an art gallery/office attached for your use and enjoyment. 40 mn drive to Broads, seaside and Norwich , a historic, cultural city.

Cocketts Holiday Cottage - a delightful 16th century pink country cottage tucked away on a quiet lane in the heart of rural Suffolk. Cosy, comfortable and tranquil, featuring beams, logburning stove and large garden with orchard, games room and children's playhouse. Feed the owner's pygmy goats and look for eggs from the chickens. Queenies Cottage has been beautifully restored to retain many original architectural features whilst providing modern comforts; underfloor heating, woodburner, fitted kitchen , downstairs wet room and an ensuite shower room to the master bedroom. Set well back from the road, the south-facing, private garden has an additional covered dining space, great in àll seasons. Excellent unlimited fast broadband. dogs welcome Queenies is a delightful, generous space for 2 guests with a secure garden.

Self-contained accommodation overlooking the river Waveney with full kitchen, dining and lounge area (including reclining sofa, smart TV and wifi), upstairs is a double bedroom with en-suite. Green Farm House is set in the peaceful Suffolk countryside at the end of a quiet lane. The quaint village of Redgrave benefits from a village pub serving food & a small village shop. Within a mile walk across the field you will find a supermarket, take-aways & pubs. The large open plan annex is bright and airy with a beautiful view of the garden & the fields beyond. There is a separate bedroom, bathroom & a second seating area which can be converted to a small double bed upon request.

Victorian Cottage In Quiet Suffolk Village.

Hollydene is a charming Victorian cottage in the rural Suffolk village of Bardwell. There is a cosy wood burner for the colder winter months and a courtyard garden for warmer days in the summer. The cottage has a fully equipped kitchen but if you prefer not to cook you will find two pubs in the village (one is just two doors away) as well as the Grumpy Goat cafe and bar at the sports pavilion (Wednesday to Sunday).
