“A lovely large and clean room in the centre of Kings Lynn. Rob was fantastic to set up the lock box and check in during my stay. Everything you need is provided including tea/coffee, fresh towels and the local newspaper! A very quiet and peaceful place to retreat to after exploring - walking distance to the bus and train station if you need it!”
Charming quaint cottage approx 150 years old with beams and a large inglenook fireplace. Like home from home with all you need including WiFi & a Smart TV including Netflix. A lovely secluded garden with Hot Tub, close to blue flag sandy beaches and award winning restaurant - both just a bike ride away! A warm welcome awaits you!
“We had a great couple of days away at Shelley's cottage, it was exactly what we needed. It was impeccably clean and decorated beautifully. We especially enjoyed the extra little touches such as bread, milk and eggs, and great communication all round. The hot tub was so relaxing and we were certainly made to feel at home straight away. We enjoyed a morning on Sea Palling beach (walking further away from the car park in order to find a quiet section), and then a trip to Thrigbury Hall which was really enjoyable. The location is excellent for enjoying this part of Norfolk. A thoroughly enjoyable stay and we can't wait to come back again sometime. Many thanks.”
Pad barefoot across earthen tiles with underfloor heating. Modern insulation and a chic wood-burning Morso stove add to the cosy interior of this renovated cottage with doors overlooking the terrace and old farm buildings beyond. Enjoy cooking on the Everhot range cooker. 25 June 2020. We are approaching being able to open for holidays again. We continue to suspend 'Instant booking' to allow for a dialogue about safety. “We had such a wonderful time at The Old Laundry, and thoroughly recommend a stay to anybody who is after a peaceful retreat and an escape from the hustle and bustle of daily life. Hetty and Mark are superb hosts and went above and beyond to help us and ensure that we were comfortable. The little touches were much appreciated; fresh bread and marmalade upon arrival, beautiful daffodils, toys available for our toddler, and the high chair and travel cot already assembled and in perfect condition. The cottage itself is stunning, and beautifully designed. We particularly loved the EverHot Aga, and had some delicious slow cooked meals. The log fire was very tempting but with such wonderful weather and underfloor heating, we were cosy enough already! The garden/s are gorgeous; our little boy loved playing under the cherry blossom trees and exploring. Just outside the property are horses, sheep, lambs, and lovely public footpaths, perfect for lazy strolls. We will definitely be coming back one day!”
