This is a small, yet stunningly beautiful authentic log home on a 40-acre estate on the shores of Douglas Lake in a primary location. It is the guest house for the estate, and there is a larger main house that is also available for short term rentals. Both booked together make a wonderful vacation! The cabin feels as if you are off in a peaceful world by yourself. It is at the end of a peninsula with a half-mile driveway away from the nearest road and surrounded by a 28,000-acre lake.

The dock does NOT have water at it during winter/early spring drawdown (typically Oct–April). Guests can still walk to the shoreline. Drought can effect levels as it’s a dam system.
