There is an efficient wood stove, 2 winter sleeping bags (Catharina Defence 6) with associated sheet bags, as well as regular duvets and pillows, blankets/blankets, etc. Fireplace that can be used whenever the weather permits. The cottage is 500 meters from the farm (access by car) where you can use your private bathroom, toilet. incl. firewood/charcoal.

Summer house by the Wadden Sea

Hans and I rent out our lovely renovated cottage by the Wadden Sea. The house is large, spacious and cozy. There is a spa, an activity room with table tennis and a large outdoor area. Distance to the Wadden Sea is 1.5 km and about 20 km to Rømø with wide white beaches. There are shopping opportunities in Skærbæk and Højer. There is peace and quiet, but with plenty of opportunities for excursions in the area. The area is part of the Wadden Sea National Park. In autumn, you can experience the "Black Sun". Possibility of two beds for children.

Large family house with large garden and walking distance to the Wadden Sea. From the garden, the mudflat can be seen on the horizon and the ferry on the way to the German island of Sild can be seen. The good hiking trails around Ballum go right past the house. 20 km to Rømø beach, 20 km to the German border, 30 km to Ribe, an hour's drive to Legoland in Billund and an hour's drive to Esbjerg. In Ballum, 1 km from the house, there is a small grocery store where you can shop whenever you want, because it is self-service.

Stay at the Old School in Ellum

Feel the wings of history when you stay at this over 100-year-old school. Experience the most beautiful sunsets, when the weather permits, in the bright southwest-facing apartment. The area offers a lot of lovely nature, with forests and rivers, as well as lovely eateries. The building also houses a shop, tailor workshop & private residence. I am often at home and of course helpful with whatever you may need. Tønder (13 km), Løgumkloster (4 km) and Wadden Sea/Rømø National Park (35 km) Bike rental available in Ellum.

The apartment is on the 2nd floor, is approx. 100 m2, and has air conditioning. A cozy living room with board games, sofa, PS4, smart TV and everything you need for cooking. There is a dishwasher. There is 1 step inside the apartment. We have 3 charming and newly renovated rooms with beds for 5 adults, as well as a crib and a rollaway bed for children. We have 3 dogs and 1 cat, and pets are welcome as long as they are under control and not in bed. We share the toilet at night, but otherwise, it's 100% yours.

It has been completely refurbished, and includes modern amenities, a fireplace and good quality Scandinavian country style furnishing (completed in May 2020). Stunning location, 40 meters from a private beach with direct access through the large south facing garden. Enjoy the sounds of the sea, birdsong and the nights sky in absolute privacy, with no neighbours or tourism to be seen!

Visit this cosy and authentic 5-bedroom country home close to the Wadden Sea. Just north of Tønder, set in Southern Jutland, you will find Nyendrupgaard. With only one neighbour across the street, Trøjborg Castle Ruins in close proximity, and the marsh just a few kilometres away, you are in the middle of the Danish nature. The area is perfect for bird watchers and nature enthusiasts.
