The Carriage House: Beautiful Farmland Views.

The Carriage House is the second floor of our cedar stables that was turned into an apartment years ago. It was completely redone this spring and professionally decorated to make it a cozy + luxe retreat with views to die for. While we no longer use the stables to house animals we still keep a few head of cattle + sheep in the pasture for your enjoyment. The wall of windows along the back of the apartment offer you the most stunning views of the surrounding farmland and an unforgettable sunrise.

Covered Bridge Cottage

Located on a farm in the heart of Amish country and amid one of the largest concentrations of antiques in America, we are central to many attractions, yet quaint and secluded enough to provide a relaxing retreat. The Covered Bridge Cottage started out in the 1800’s as a mill office and over the years was converted into a home through several additions. The house has been in our family for close to a century and it was our honor to restore it to a comfortable, energy efficient, durable home.

Beloved Chateau (with Hot Tub)

The Beloved Chateau is a guest suite in a character house in Adamstown. You will relax in a hot tub, enjoy a comfortable bed with a newly renovated, modern bathroom. The tv is a 55 inch TV with access to your personal streaming accounts. Whether you like to hike, shop for antiques in town, or enjoy a restful evening in, it is perfect for couples searching for a restful overnight stay. The room is fully independent from the rest of our house. It has a private entrance with NO shared space.

Should your plans include exploring the area, you're ideally located between Reading and Lancaster and just off a PA Turnpike interchange, even Hershey Park is a short drive away; we're an ideal spot as a base to tour the PA Dutch region while staying in "Kleine Bayern." Quaint, 1-bedroom, cottage built as a summer kitchen for the original farmhouse in 1740. First floor is an open concept with new appliances in the kitchen and a cozy living area with loveseat and dining table. Upstairs is the bedroom with a quaint full bathroom, featuring a shower (no bath option) with new flooring. *Please see house rules for non-negotiables, fees, etc. *

Tucked into the woods of the Texter Mountain, our little home is a custom built modern getaway. Its beautiful timber framework, high steel beams for suspension, and glass front makes for the perfect retreat.
