Eli Reeves Cabin at Hobbyknob farm

This two story log cabin was originally built in 1820 by Eli Reeves, an Indiana furniture maker. In the fall of 2015 it was moved log by log to our farm and was restored to feel like you stepped back in time but with very special touches. If these logs could talk! The first word most guests say is "wow" and we worked hard to earn that. We set out to create something special that would stand out to share with guests. Charming, comfy, historic cabin with modern amenities in a very private & quiet country setting just 20 minutes to downtown Asheville, 25 minutes to West Asheville and a short 10 minute drive to Weaverville. * This cabin has been on Airbnb since 2012. We bought it from our friend, Caroline, in the fall of 2021. However, we've managed it since 2015. Airbnb doesn't allow transfers of listings so we have to start fresh.
