Built around 1780 as a smoking house, the farmhouse is protected under historic preservation and has been lovingly maintained. You will stay in our cozy apartment with a terrace to the south side and views of our garden. We rent a cozy, friendly, bright apartment on the 2nd floor of an old building with 2 bedrooms (1x160 bed, 1x 140 bed), great kitchen and bathroom with shower & bathtub. The sofa in the living room offers a sleeping option (squeaks a bit). The small town of Hagenow lies between the "Schaalsee Biosphere Reserve" and the "Elbe River Landscape Biosphere Reserve", and the cities of Ludwigslust and Schwerin can also be reached quickly by train. The Baltic Sea is only 1 hour away by car.

The surrounding area in the Schaalsee biosphere reserve is ideal for cycling, hiking and birdwatching. The house has everything you need for rest and relaxation. A bright, cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, a view of nature, a sauna and a spacious covered terrace that can be used in any weather.

Welcome to our cottage on the Elbe dyke! Our house and the detached guest house were built in 2021. The guest house is very cozy and stylish with many details, such as furniture, windows, etc., which have been designed and built in individual production and with a lot of love for detail. If you are looking for peace and relaxation in a stylishly furnished ambience, this is the place to be. The Elbe Cycle Path and Elbe Dike are about 200 meters from us.

Apartment "Gardenview" just outside Schwerin

In front of the Schwerin gates is our over 100-year-old residential building with adjoining new building with two individually designed apartments. The "Gardenview" is suitable for both business and individual travelers. It is located on the 2nd floor and offers a light-flooded living room with a king-size bed, desk and small dining area with high chairs. An adjoining kitchen, as well as a separate shower room complete the apartment with garden views.

The apartment is located in a listed villa, which was originally built in 1864. There are eight apartments in the house, which are spread over four levels. The house has a living area of 550 m², the apartment, which is located on the second level, is 32 m² in size. The kitchenette is equipped with a built-in kitchen that allows normal cooking. On the ground floor there is a cleaning room with a washing machine and dryer.

Spacious tiny house

Our tiny house is the perfect base for cyclists, hikers, short-stay vacationers or ornithologists. Lake Sumter is only a few minutes' walk away. The Elbe is 4 km away. The light-flooded tiny house has 2 sleeping places with TV in the "upper deck." 2 more people can stay on a pull-out couch. There is a well-equipped kitchen and under the walnut tree you can linger and relax on a 20 sqm terrace with a grill.

On our approximately 6,000 m² property there are various quiet corners to relax, read or chat with the family. In addition to a large number of different apple trees, we also have cherries, plums, walnuts, pears and shrub fruit – during the harvest months you can snack and pick. Each apartment has its own seating area in the garden. The grill and fireplace, as well as our pavilion, may be shared by all.

At the confluence of Sude/Rögnitz (on the property) you can watch beavers and nutrias. Simply ideal for relaxing and hiking. The floor area is about 100 square meters.
