A three-bedroom, three sitting room townhouse full of charm, nestling in picturesque Wirksworth in the heart of Derbyshire. There is plenty of space for 6 people and the house is ideal for friends or family - an excellent base for a walking or cycling holiday in the Peak District. Three spacious living rooms allow flexibility to make use of the board games, enjoy the stunning views or just curl up with a good book in front of the log burner. There is a very small outdoor space at the rear.

A light, airy, cosy cottage in the heart of Wirksworth. Close to pubs and restaurants, it’s perfect for relaxing or as a base when exploring the area. The wood burning stove makes the perfect accompaniment to a relaxing night in. Logs provided and if you wish to purchase more they can be delivered to the cottage. Beautiful 18th Century Cottage

The Wee House on the Hill is a perfect retreat for a relaxing get away. Country walks straight from the door or a short stroll down into Wirksworth, an ancient market town steeped in history. The cottage is located in one of the oldest parts of Wirksworth, where miners cottages were randomly built around the hillside with a unique maze of paths and 'ginnels' (alleyways). Lots of independent shops and cafes & quirky pubs. Not forgetting Wirksworth's very own 'cool' & independent cinema!

The living room features warm wooden flooring and a large area rug. A cozy sofa and an accent chair are situated near a rustic fireplace, creating an inviting space. Soft lighting is provided by a standing lamp and wall sconces, enhancing the room's ambiance.

Great walks from the doorstep, Ideally situated for all the Peak District has to offer, Matlock, Chatsworth House, Haddon Hall, Bakewell, Dovedale, Eyam all a short drive away and Carsington Water just over a mile.

Dog friendly, one small or medium dog welcome. Situated only a 4 minute downhill walk to the centre of the historic, picturesque village of Wirksworth. On a quiet side street but close to nearby independent shops, pubs, cinema and restaurants of Wirksworth. It is a great place to stay if you want a walking or cycling holiday or if you prefer a more leisurely break, taking in the stunning views of the Peak District.
