Vacation home in the Westerwald Westerwald heart

We discovered our cottage in the beautiful Westerwald by chance in 2019 – and immediately fell in love. Between March 2020 and August 2021, we transformed it with a lot of passion and attention to detail into a place where you can relax and recharge your batteries. For me – Janine, a trained hotel manager – it is particularly important to bring people closer to the small and large beauties of life: through time for themselves, with the family or simply in nature. Whether alone, as a couple or with children: our cottage invites you to switch off, feel, pause. A place to find yourself (again) – and to celebrate life.

Room with private bathroom and kitchenette in Altenkirchen

Simple but functionally furnished, clean room with daylight in the basement of our single-family home in Altenkirchen/Ww. Private bathroom 2 steps across the hall opposite the room. The hallway leads to our basement rooms, which means we sometimes have to go through the hallway. Mini kitchen. Wi-Fi. TV. Near DRK Altenheim. A travel bed can be added to the bed (1.40 x 2.00, for two people to sleep) if necessary. For guests with a baby, a reservation is possible after consultation.

Engine shed in the old train station **Industrial Style**

Pure nature! You live in an old train station directly on hiking and biking trails. Absolute tranquility (almost) without neighbors. Slow-moving freight trains pass by on the rails 3 times a day. On weekends they are still - then you can watch deer or even a fox there. The apartment is located in the former engine shed of the train station and is stylishly/individually and comfortably furnished. It is now available for the first time after complete renovation of the building.

THE small HUT - hiking. biking. experience nature.

In the rugged Upper Westerwald, directly on the wild and romantic Holzbach Gorge, where the Holzbach stream has carved its bed into the basalt over the millennia, the days are simply different. Longer, more eventful, more relaxing. Feel at home here and experience a special place to recharge your batteries, strength, and inspiration. A fire pit with firewood and a kettle grill are available. Towels and bed linen are provided upon request (for an additional charge).

Circus wagon on the sheep pasture

Surrounded by trusting sheep, our circus wagon stands under a roof of maple trees. An exceptional place to stay with panoramic views for 1–2 adults. Sheep cuddling included! If you want to hike, cycle or slow down, you are in the right place in Windecker Ländchen. The circus trailer is located on a separate property behind our house on our sheep pasture. Private access & parking available. Every 30 minutes S-Bahn connection to Cologne (1 hour to the Koelnmesse).

Tinyhouse Minimalus III Natur mit Whirlpool

Lerne in romantischer Natur das Leben im Tinyhouse kennen. Das nachhaltige Gebäude wurde komplett in Eigenleistung entworfen und gebaut. Hoher Anspruch an Design und Materialien sowie ein artemberaubender Blick aus dem Panoramawohnbereich lassen keine Wünsche offen. Der verglaste Wohnbereich mit Blick in die Natur ist nur eines der Highlights. Ein privater Whirlpool steht auf der Terrasse. Die Küche ist voll ausgestattet. Der Whirlpool ist ganzjährig nutzbar.

Cottage at the Holzbach Gorge

Our small cozy wooden house is located in a vacation home village right by the Holzbach Gorge on the Westerwaldsteig. Enjoy the tranquility and nature of the beautiful Westerwald. The cottage is an ideal starting point for hikes and bike tours and is close to a swimming lake (Secker Weiher). With up to 4 people, you will stay alone in the house. The garden is also intended for your own use. Arrival without a car is not possible. !! No rental to companies!!

Relax in our mountain vacation home with an idyllic location, large garden and northwest balcony for breathtaking sunsets. Explore the surroundings with their hiking trails and swimming lakes. Up to 4 people can be accommodated in the cozy house and benefit from a fully equipped kitchen, a living room, 2 bedrooms and a bathroom. The upper bedroom is designed as a loft. Experience the beauty of nature and leave everyday stress behind!

'IN THE HORSE STABLE' Door to door with chicken and horse

'IN THE STABLE' is located on the ground floor of the barn of the mill property. It used to be a stable.(Also check out my other apartment 'Barn Loft.') The room has low ceilings and small lattice windows. The room is suitable for people looking for a more cave-like, cozy retreat. Due to the oven and the cold floor, the apartment is not suitable for infants. In the cold season, it may be necessary to heat with the oven. See below.

Newly renovated apartment "Suseria" in the WW

Feel at home in our vacation home "Suseria." It is a newly renovated attic apartment for 4-6 people in 2024, in a quiet residential area in the Westerwald. The apartment has 2 bedrooms, there is also an open area in which the kitchen, dining and living room can be found as well as 1 bathroom (shower & bathtub) and is a total of about 100 square meters. Guests can use a small gym directly across the street from 6 am to 11 pm.

Separate barrier-free in-law suite

The apartment is bright, sunny, barrier-free and modernly furnished. Built in 2021. The town of Vielbach is 5 minutes from the A3. ICE train station and outlet in Montabaur can be reached in 15 minutes. Cologne and Frankfurt airports can be reached in 45 minutes. Various tourist attractions are available nearby. Despite the good connection, the place is in a rural idyll. The apartment is built barrier-free and senior-friendly.

Cozy wooden cabin

This cozy wooden house is located in a small HOLIDAY VILLAGE on the Westerwaldsteig. With up to six people you can enjoy nature here! You can go hiking or swimming in the Secker pond. When it gets cold, you can light a fire in the oven. Sit on the terrace and enjoy the summer. The house has simple furnishings, but now also Wi-Fi!
